I like it a lot, but I also appreciate the original ending. Something about it felt that it was really fitting for the end of each episode. Somehow it felt depressing yet fulfilling at the same time. It is like a small break from the show itself, but also reminding you that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I fall in love again every time when I listen to your songs Mr. PianoDeuss!! I've been a guitarist back when I was younger and started now to learn piano and music theory~ just to improve myself for music production (beats, piano pieces and soundtracks for animes, movies, games, anything :D and the mainreason: to be able to play what is inside my head! I can say that you are my male soulmate bro! Every of your arrangements of the pieces and soundtracks which I live, you converted it into this dark, melodic and sad vibe - which is exaaactly what I always have in my head~ of course even more unexpected and crazier! Btw you are the reason why I can die for arpeggios!!! Btw 2.0 : we have a live piano playing in the restaurant for afternoon tea here in london and I always forward your videos to my favourite pianist from work and he is always buying your sheet music and plays it in his even softer way (regarding the enviroment where we are working) just today I heard your arrangement of "an angel's cruel thesis" and of course more stuff ! And he loves your way of playing as well! Its actually the very first comment which I do and I'm wondering why not earlier!! Id actually love to keep in touch with you on Instagram or any other platform to share music, ideas and maybe do some work together - as a fellow musician and very very beginner piano player hehehe As soon I can read music- you'll see a lot of purchases of your arrangements hahaha And your own-composed piano-piece (I didnt say my last word) made me sheddered in tears so hard! Please keep on doing!! You are amazing!!!! I can even rate you as one of my idols beside Beethoven and Liszt! :) Best regard and all the health from a german-mixed dude, living in london haha Chris

to be fair, what he does is turning the music from a major key into a minor one and uses harmonic minor to resolve, also adds a bunch of reverb which makes it "dark and sad", which is not precisely hard nor something incredible from outer space, of course his arranges are good and he's indeed a good musician, but with all the respect he deserves, I wouldn't compare him to Liszt or Mozart. anyways, it is well done by him.

what i love about this version, is that it feels lonely and longing in comparison to the Eva version that is more of a break from all the existential questions and stresses. it gives me this scenario an old wind-up music box playing this piece, while you're sitting on a couch on the porch, looking aimlessly in the gray afternoon rain, all alone, with no-one to call let alone lean to, memories of your recent interactions with other people, questioning if what you have shown was truly you or nothing more but a facade, longing for somebody, something, to recognize your existence, and lift you from this place.

This tells a story where a villain fell in love with a person but died tragically months after the heroin of the story tried saving the people from something which affected the villains loved one (in some way) and the villain tried to avenge the death of this person who he or she once loved. This piece gives me a beautiful but tragic and chaotic love story. Huhuhuhu

Duuuude. This is great! I don't know how many variations I've heard of this song (especially being an oldies and nge fan for so long) But this is def now one of my top fav versions! This touched my little 90s anime nerd heart perfectly.

I feel like this is what would play for a character that was initially good but slowly throughout the song they get progressively more sad and evil.

This showed up in my recommended and is now on my funeral music list. I love fly me to the moon, but always thought it to be a bit too happy sounding and this perfectly converts it to a neutral/sad version. (I also adore evangelion, which fitted nicely with the piece)

i really like this anyway i think the beauty of the intro/outro of evangelion is the tone, it really separates the chaos of evangelion with the real world

Let me start off by saying, I love this arrangement and I really like your channel. However, I feel like the piece that hit the hardest in Evangelion are the more subdued pieces(besides the OP, but that's literally the best anime tune ever). I could see this in like, a more gothic style show. Still an amazing arrangement, it hits DIFFERENT.

I know that this comment will get buried inevitably as many like mine do, and i do like this cover as a stand alone piece, but I do prefer the original ending in the context of the original show. The show has an air of melancholy to it that is represented perfectly in the soft strings and siren like singing, after every heavy episode i felt almost lulled into numbness by the song. In short, I think the original song fits better, but either way i still like this cover on its own merit, keep up the good work. I don't know why i got so weird about this... (Also I Genuinly do like the cover, i just disagree with the title a bit : D )
