Been there 3 times . It’s 3 hours away from my place . Love the fishery so much , good friends with James as wel . Going in 2 days can’t wait 🤩

That is the fly its amazing fly i started making those about 3 years ago glad they still working should have patented the pattern lol .

Nice looking fish there Jake. two on at once is no joke so you did very well to land them both👍 The olive apps always works well on Graiglwyd although your version is slightly different than mine. The one I tie consists of 5 olive beads (I think they are called seed beads) and 6 legs together with a red butt and I combine this with a red apps on the dropper. Very rarely fails to catch.

Cheers Glyn, yes it’s always a bit of a tricky situation. I was lucky they didn’t tangle into eachother too. I have some of those olive apps with the beads your on about, deadly fished static or pulled. 👌🏻

I tied a new olive apps a couple years ago and caught loads on them at graiglwydsprings. Olive sparkly apps i made the fishery 60 of these apps they catch really well to .I had 50 in 8 hours on them one day up there .They have caught in scotland to and every fishery ive been to .

Hi Pete. Yes it was you who told me about the apps material to use and it’s amazing. Caught me plenty of fish and a couple of doubles. 👍🏻
