Great video, I do have a question though. Colorado kind of wants the fishermen to keep brook trout if they are in a drainage that has native cutthroat, did you keep any for the skillet? I seldom, if ever, keep fish but on cutthroat streams I will keep brook trout.

I did not keep them as I was just doing some day hikes, but if I was camping I definitely would!

I am going to the Breckenridge area next week. Any suggestions? I has never fished wild trout, just stocked trout here in Kansas. Any advice would be great. Thanks

I haven’t fished that area, but the Blue river is pretty popular. Any stream should be fishing well this time of year, try a Chubby Chernobyl with a bead head Hares Ear dropper, can’t miss!
