Great video again! I had to smile at those first few sentences „...you win some, you lose some, some are big and some are small...“. Will be fishing Mörrumsån again in September, in the meantime I am happy to watch your videos!

This video was one of your best so far. Those fish were stunning and i love your calm and accurate narration. That jumper trout though, i had a very similar experience this year while using single handed 6 weight rod in vantaa river Finland. A big bright silver seatrout that did over 20 jumps in 10 minutes and it didnt lose any energy at all. I never landed that fish but i was ok with it! Glad you did! Seeing you fight that gave me chilly flashbacks.

I would not have put the rainbow back ,I would never put anything back that was non indigenous to any wild water . Great video with some wonderful fish Dr John . Regards from old Blighty UK .

Again a great video but, never quite understand the absence of a decent landing net in not only Dr John videos but many other proficient anglers. It would mean landing most fish cleaner and quicker and also prevent the near lost fish as a result of `hand` landing. Keep up the good work.

Are you not encouraged to remove rainbows from the eco-system? I know C&R is becoming ingrained, but I think I would have removed it.

@@DrJohnTheAnglerJohnHedberg Such a rainbow would have been considered a trophy in the waters I fish in my part of the US.However given that sea trout and salmon are native, I'd have been sorely tempted to place it on the grill. Thanks for replying, enjoy your vids immensely!

Hi from Scotland, Love watching your videos i was wondering if you could help me out the river im currently fishing has lots of slow moving deep water i was wondering how you would fish these areas iv seen in some of your videos it looks like your simply swinging a fly in slow water? any tips would be much appreciated

Hi, Slow moving, deep currents are really not my speciallity. I prefere faster waters. But this year I might actually give it a try. I will probably start fishing with some kind of sink tippet, density depending on the waterflow and then I will take in the line with a short, fast movement. At least that's the plan. /John

Hi, No the problem is not solved. I saw sick and dead fish in June but not to the same extent as before. So it looks promising in Mörrum but it's not over yet. Something is wrong in the Baltic Sea because there are reports from other Swedish rivers about extensive salmon deaths

/John
