Fly Fishing for LARGEMOUTH BASS and BIG CARP!

In this video, I did some urban fly fishing in a stretch of canal that runs through Phoenix, Arizona. This water comes from the Salt River, and carries water throughout the city... and it holds a TON of fish, including Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Carp, Tilapia, Sunfish, and more!
On this particular day, the largemouth bass and grass carp bite was spectacular!! I caught and released a bunch of fish, including a couple of big carp, and some decent bass, all on one olive green wooly bugger fly! It was a blast!!

Thanks! Nope, just a "normal" weightless (non-beadhead) wooly bugger that my uncle tied for me!
Some bass just have an acquired taste for stairs 😄. That first carp was a beast! I was wondering if you could do a video of your fly fishing knots?? That would be awesome! Hope you ordered that new net buddy! 😉 That wooly bugger did wonders, what a great day fishing Kev!

Pretty awesome, right?? This canal system originates from the Salt River in AZ, so it gets a ton of fish from that river... You never know what you might get into!! 🙂✌️🎣

Hey man, good question! I have prescription polarized sunglasses with a green base lens that is specific for fishing in up to 10 ft of water... They really, REALLY help you see fish in the water! I definitely recommend polarized sunglasses for fishing 🤙✌️🎣
How long of a 15 lb leader?
