Truly appreciate your review and going through the details. You convinced me to get the 378, when am already married to the 376 😂 Fluke Connect crashes on my iPhone when I connect to the 378.

Fluke 378 is the best

Love the videos. What new clamp meter would you recommend for 120/208 service tanning bed repair. I’ve got a 289 and an older clamp meter but want something a little more portable and fluke connect compatible. Lot of capacitors on these beds.

I would recommend probably a Fluke-902 FC (HVAC clamp meter) or if you need more industrial use and want the flexible CT or iFlex I would recommend the Fluke-376 FC. I would only recommend the Fluke-377 FC or Fluke-378 FC if you want the ability to measure voltage without the test leads. Obviously pricing will probably be a priority for you.

with iflex without load I measure 3.4A. do you think it is normal?

Do you find the DC voltages on this meter accurate? I've got this meter (two weeks old) and DC voltages are way higher on the 378 compared to my other calibrated meters. For example a old 9v battery will measure 9.6v when my other calibrated meters show 8.8. that makes a big difference in the world of batteries!

I personally have not. But I've also not been trying to compare. If we assume that 8.8 is gospel that means it's around 9% off. Regardless I would reach out to Fluke Tech support 800-873-5853 (to verify that this unit is not performing as manufacturer expects). Then they can connect with service and service should be able to repair or replace 888-99-FLUKE

Can you do some fluke connect video with the 378fc? I just bought it and don't want to turn up to work without knowing how to use the app. Thanks!

It will do current but only through the jaws. Not the test leads.

On which testers can I use the iflex?

@Fridays With Brandon Hey Brandon, If you don't mind, I have a few questions that I wasn't sure were covered in the 378 FC videos. 1.) Can AC amp/current measurements be taken without the FieldSense function? For example, like on the 376. 2.) I have an Amprobe line splitter and wondered if both amps and voltage can be measured simultaneously, providing the clamp jaws are on the correct area of the splitter? And if so, can I use the included alligator clip on a receptacle cover screw for grounding, or even the black lead probe into the ground hole of the outlet? 3.) To your knowledge, is this model made in the USA? Thanks in advance!

60 amp on that wire is too much, may be somethimg is wrong

its going through a 10x multiplier...thus the toaster is pulling around 6 amps.
