Thanks for having me on the podcast :). I had a lot of fun and time went by so fast that I didn't even realize the passage of time. Great podcast as always. But I find the background music annoying. I can't concentrate on the conversation because of the music. It's probably just me.

I usually don't mind music for shorter videos, but for a podcast it's a bit much. Maybe if the volume was lower

Does anyone have any techniques for looking up words in a visual novel? Or visual novels which assist you in looking up words? That's my biggest pet peeve of visual novels, albeit a small one. It's such a bitch to whip out Shirabe Jisho or whatever on my phone and write in the words by hand to see the definition, especially when it's difficult and I'm looking up a word every other sentence. It's so fuckin easy to hover a word with Yomichan when reading stuff in my web browser, but looking up words in visual novels wears on me quickly because of how much of a pain in the ass it is to not only look it up but then to add Anki cards so that I actually retain the new words.

I've heard of people using a text hooker, which I think basically allows you to paste whatever sentence you're looking at into a webpage, and then you can use yomichan on top of that. I'm not sure if you'd have to use an OCR for a visual novel if it doesn't let you copy-paste it.
