Hearns had trouble with Benitez. And a difficult time with Randy Shields. Both pure boxers. Mayweather is better than either. Hearns would need a big punch prayer to come out on top.

Presley HD In his prime, Floyd Jr would beat Duran, he would beat Hagler, he would beat Robinson. Look at what he did to Canelo. He made Canelo look like a fool for many rounds.

Those guys are excellent commentators &know their stuff.They were ON POINT in ALL their analysis on the subjects they were asked about.Great clip.

Hearns for sure.

Hearns would've been too much for floyd.. too big too fast too strong, ko between round 5-8.. hearns was a very good technical boxer too, in fact manny steward said hearns never had problems with technical boxers at all so floyd would've been a fairly easy fight for Tommy. Leonard beats him too, too skilful and too much movement.. as the guy said Ray would've made him fight more, fighters back then were different and fighters today are different. Floyd hasn't fought anyone anywhere near Leonard hearns and Duran calibre.. fighters today aren't of the same calibre. Good but they were different breed back then..

Stylistically Hearns vs Mayweather is terrible for Mayweather. Hearns lights him up from the outside with Mayweather not even being able to land anything. Sparring session for Hearns. Maybe 4 or 5 rounds until his corner throws the towel or it's KO.

On point. That sounds like exact truth. Floyd wouldn't be able to get Hearns respect and that 78" reach would punish Floyd at 73". He would hit him too hard. Floyd would not be FLOYD in that era but respect since he dominated his generation for 20 years always adapted.

True say, as good as floyd is today in hearns and Leonard's era he would've been lucky to win 1 or 2 titles and wouldn't have won so many titles.. different breed of fighters back then, Leonard and hearns both ko him and Duran gives him a nightmare for 15 rounds, even Benitez gives him problems, fact is they were different calibre of fighters then and different today.. if hearns and Leonard were in today's era they'd be undefeated and multiple weight champs. Nobody comes closes to beating them at 147/154lbs, James Toney and Roy Jones at 160/168lbs would be great fights

If the people you're interviewing are named fighters please name them. I agree with their assessments. The only question about Money is can he bang inside and be a slugger, does he have heart. He'd have to do that with Hearns just as Leonard did. If they weren't even on speed I'd say Leonard had the speed advantage so he'd have to fight him or Leonard would out point him. Both dream fights for sure.

Remember Hearns retired SRL when he detached his retna. Hearts opened up Haglers forehead and they were going to stop the fight. Thomas the Hitman Hearns all the way.

Hearns who destroyed Duran knocks mayweather out, too much speed and power.

Duran and floyd both are natural 130/5 lbs fighters - which means they are far from home. Everyrhing they shaped their skills on would change drastically as you moved up in weight. That is the reason why i couldnt see duran handling hearns - especially at 154. Hearns had body build and super power to move up and stay explosive. Mayweather had to reinvent himself (which is super impressive) as he went up - he lost his punch by the time he got to ww. So sww is far far away from his comfort if you put tommy hearns in the ring. Floyd couldnt win against tommy at 147 too - but at 154? Even more science fiction.

I will tell you right now, Chavez Sr and Duran would have not beat him. Too brawlers won't beat a pure boxer technically. So those two definitely won't. Especially Chavez Sr at 140. Hell no. Duran has a bit more of a shot but he was inconsistent. One thing about Floyd is that he worked hard always. So scratch those two out.

Floyd does'nt have the power to hurt Hearns or make Tommy respect him. The entire fight would be similar to Rounds 1-5 of SRL vs Hearns. Floyd would be backing off all night and Tommy Staling him. Floyd would loose heavily on the scorecards if he is lucky he doesn't get clocked by Hearns right hand. The analysis of these 2 are spot on. Ray leonard's defense appears to be inferior to Floyd because his game is throw more punches and thus opens himself up more. I'll take Ray by decision.

The closest was Castillo and that fight is questionable who actually won. Still, Castillo wasn’t on the level of JCC. And, I’m talking about Chavez at Lightweight. Mayweather was a great defender and I’m not saying he wasn’t great. Just saying he wouldn’t have been 50-0 in the golden era... NOT A CHANCE

Both Tommy and SRL would have beaten Floyd. Both too quick and skilful, these guys threw punches in clusters. They would have outworked Floyd who likes to throw mainly single shots. Plus they are both the bigger more natural welterweights, both started their careers as welterweights. Floyd started his career as a featherweight. Tommy would have controlled Floyd with one of the best jabs the world has seen. No fighter in Mayweathers time had what Tommy had. I can also see SRL landing lightning quick powerful combinations on him. These two would have been too good for Floyd, but would still be great to watch.

Mayweather. No question. Hearns had plenty problems with another defensive wizard, Wilfred Benitez. Scored a narrow majority decision. Mayweather is far more dedicated and better conditioned than Benitez. Hungrier. Hearns would do well early but he usually fades in long fights. Mayweather would take control down the stretch and score a close but unanimous victory. Too tricky, too smart for the Hit Man.

If you don't think Hearns beats mayweather, you need to go to your matchmaker, ask em to put you against someone with 100+ fights, with a reach, height advantage, that knows how to use it and that can punch and let me know how that goes, please record it too so we can all laugh. let me know how easy it is to counter punch someone who can tag you from a distance at which you cant. dumbass.

Are gou kidding? Floyd had more power? Wow. May i remind you - leonard was a full fledged natural 147 and floyd 130 or 135 - going up to 147. I dont think at his very peak power he could tingle ray. Ray could bomb more than he gets credit for. Check out his kos against green, price, and even wilting prime tommy hearns who was a physical beast. Who did floyd ko at ww? Sucker punching ortiz? I could've done that.

Watch what Vernon Forrest did to a prime undefeated Mosely. Hearns is a much better version of a tall stylist than Forrest. It's not even close. Floyd Mosely Pac would have been inhibited @47 by the Hitman.

If Sugar was getting hit by every fighter he fought, for the most part.......
