The hitman would win but Pretty Floyd was savage. Tommy would have problems against boxers that would press him like Hagler and Leonard did late in their first fight , on the end of Tommy’s jab, Mayweather wouldn’t have had a chance, but if he could’ve pressed the issue and been aggressive like Pretty Boy Floyd could do, he probably would’ve stopped Hearns even though Mayweather didn’t have a lot of power . I still believe Hearns would’ve won easy .

in reality, it wouldn't have gone the distance, Floyd would have run a marathon prior to Tommy catching Floyd with one of his devastating uppercuts, Floyd hits the deck all bloodied up and twitching, Tommy walks away mumbling, he tells his corner, " i thought you said he was good " Tommy's corrner tells him, he is, but, you're in a different league, along side Hagler, Sugar, Duran, and several others who would have beaten Floyd.

Tommy Hearns is Floyd Mayweather's boogeyman. Impossible to outbox. Mayweather would get nowhere with the philly shell. I'm more intrigued by Mayweather vs Griffith. Griffith when well trained, was a greater version of the likes of Castillo, Maidana, an old de le Hoya and with great spring on his step like a young Mosley, whilst being very physically strong.

I have been having this argument with a young kid who boxes with me. Great kid, LOVES Floyd. I respect Floyd, but he and you dont either realize or remember is Hearns was 6'1 welterweight who could ice you with one punch.
