Spending ludicrous amounts of money on something that costs max 5k to make shows your do respect thier craft or else you wouldn't buy said watch. With that being said, in NO way, shape or form is it being disrespectful to take that watch and then ice it out afterwards to your liking. If the original jeweler takes issue with this, then maybe he should read the room and create a division in his company to take his original models and ice them out at the factory level to appeal more to that crowd of buyers. Most of the people dumb enough and ego driven enough to spend that kind if miney on a timepiece are from the entertainment/music/rapper industry and that field of clientele would probably much prefer to buy a factory iced watch. Not too mention the enormous net profit the jewler would make from upsetting his own merchandise. These clients spend stupid amounts to get these iced iut aftermarket and would certainly fork over the cash up front to get then done at the factory level ... Sorry for the rant but my original point stands. It's no where neer disrespectful to someone's craft to buy thier product for millions and then tweaking once its yours to tweak.

Yes it is!! Funny how some feel that adding precious diamonds would "totally destroy the value"!! If you buss down it loses factory authenticity therefore voids the warranty but if you can spend that kind of money adding diamonds to your watch you don't have a problem paying to get it fixed in the event there's an issue with the movement. Floyd blessed with mad talent and he found a way to capitalize on it, to the extreme 🙏 🙏

Additing diamonds doesn't always kill. If you have a $10,000 Jacob &CO and you add 150 of small size .50 carets Flawless princess cut diamonds to it that would increase the value significantly. But with that being said the price you would be paying for the diamonds alone maybe not be worth it because diamond dealers make you pay top dollar for the retail priced diamonds and the labor is even more unless your doing this in a country outside the USA/Canada/UK/Dubai/Paris
