I had accumulated several types, this was the only one that was easy to use and the results I trusted.

The instructions were very clear, she also did say to follow the instructions that came with the kit as they may be different - thank you. Unfortunately, I could not find my English instructions, and I was impatient. I continued, my BAD. After listening to the video a few times (I'm slow ;-) I took the test. THEN looked at the comments, FOUR drops NOT five, so I looked over the Spanish instructions and was able to confirm four. So I will need to take the test again after finding the English instructions. I think it might be good to place a slide with text at the beginning of this video to stress the importance to check the instructions in this video against the written instructions as people have commented the there were differences in their instructions. I see I am the only the 6th comment and 3rd person to comment on the drops.

Five or six drops won't make a difference. If you go under four it might not be enough liquid it just needs enough liquid to make it all the way up to slide

I have done 4 drops in the past, and accidentally did 5 drops this time... There's a pink haze over the whole thing, which I've never seen before. Too much solution? Stay tuned... The pink cleared up. Negative at 15 min.

Good instructions. What is the liquid in the vial? I accidentally spilled it. Does that mean I need a new kit?

You need the chemical to mix with your body fluid for the test. So yes. Get a new one.

Hm. I have the same kit. But mine says 4 drops. This KZread Video says 6. also, the spin while pinching is supposed to be done in the fluid but she does it outside the fluid or it looks like it. And she doesn't do the final pinch of the swab head in the tube (while outside the fluid). This video seems helpful but really may be giving lots of bad info.

I agree. I did mine exactly as she said and mine says negative, which I know is false. Now I have to re-use a new test kit to see but this time I am going to only do 4 drops, not 6.

Doesn't matter what shows up at anytime final is in 15 minutes. Mine showed up less then minute.

Because this video is a year old. The kits have changed slightly. Follow the directions on your kit.

Just used one good thru 2025 but I got a positive result almost immediately. Like less than 10 seconds. Is there anything wrong with that?

At the beginning I had what I can only describe as a SHARP feeling in my throat , could this of been OMACRON ? without me realising it ? it definitely was'nt like an ordinary sore throat . MY throat still feels a bit sore but not bad at the moment .

@@shaneluke346 Hey Shane. From recently testing positive for 11 days, only the first two were strong symptoms - it seems that many people experience this differently. If I started to feel one or more symptoms for more than a day or two, I would do a home test. They are quite easy to get free ones. You can get ones from www.covid.gov/tests AND most all health ins (including medicare) offer 8 free home tests EVERY MONTH. You can get those tests today at any pharmacy. Best to call ahead to confirm your ins pays for it and that gives them time to fill this as a prescription. My personal concern was that I could spread it to others and more concerned of how that could effect an older person who has other health issues or someone who has not been vaccinated. Many of my family have chosen not to get vaccinated. One died before the vaccinations were even available but I'm almost positive that they (like all their family members) would not have gotten them. Personally, I understand that this is a choice. Hmm, I did not intend for my reply to go there. Please accept my apologies. Since most people are not wearing masks while out (my husband and I were among them). I seldom go out or around other people so who knows where I got it from - On my first day of finally testing negative - my husband tested positive. Has this been a hassle for us? ABSOLUTELY and one I would not like to be the person to subject this hassle on anyone else. So ...after way too much information. I suggest getting a test soon, wear a mask until you know the results. Shane, it's most likely not covid (but I am not a doctor OR want to portray one on the internet :-). But knowing could bring piece of mind. My fingers are crossed for you!
