Maybe my favourite Icehouse track? Love the whistling.
A brain massage. Mesmorising and soothing.. Always takes me back to some pretty hazy days.
They just don't make songs like this now. It takes me back to the 80's when life was less complex but songs were more meaningful. Commercial radio music is complete crap compared to these timeless classics

Best years of our lives, can never be replaced, now we have a pandemic virus thank god we got to enjoy this exceptional era
The best songs are the ones that pop back into your head decades later. Iva got the funk!

Always a pleasure! They are just as good as INXS!
Haven't heard this remix version before. all I knew was the album version of the track...cool video of it's time. Love these 80's vids, they were the basics in video making but were some of the most memorable.
They were initially called The Flowers

Hypnotic Awesomeness
I used to work with an Irish guy who'd lived in Australia for 20 odd years & I asked him which Aussie band that never made it over in the UK is the one you can't believe never did? He didn't even hesitate when he said Icehouse.
I remember when I first heard this on the radio back in day. I thought it was Roxy Music.

A sexy song from 1981
This is it BABY
Saw them at Sweetwaters in New Zealand...
The new band name 'Icehouse' should also appear in your title, as the 45 rpm single 'Love In Motion' was released in October 1981 after the name change, whereupon the band became darker and more introspective. This is a bonus track that never appeared on the original album, which I have.
it's good!
Ahhh, memories
Gold
He must have been listening to Bowie's Station To Station
I was trying to figure out who they reminded me of - INXS! INXS were obviously inspired by their sound.
How good is it
One of the Sexiest songs ever made! Could listsn & do thing's to this song all night long😉
It's only synth rock'n'roll but I like it!
... and previously the video for We Can Get Together, at least in the US, which explains the presence of Smith and Welsh, and Lloyd who were gone from the band (temporarily in Lloyd's case), by the time Primitive Man rolled around.

So many great songs they would all be kilers if they were more rock than light pop wish someone would do some covers
Their (his) best song...detached and moody and mystical and how much better than the fluff that followed..including the mullet.
They were to open for David Gilmours USA solo tour. No show.

99% correct. It was recycled from the international/UK? music video of We Can Get Together (the Aussie one is different), which is fitting because Love in Motion was recorded in the UK.
