Very Pretty. Thanks for the tutorial. I pinch my corners vs sewing them, but trim does help 😀 I use a popsicle stick to smooth out glue. Great to know about her fabric line, love these bird chart designs. Great Job!!!

Great tutorial! I am going to attempt to frame a piece. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks.
Thank you so much for the great tutorial! What glue gun do you use? Is it a cool touch one? I always end up burning my fingers! You are right Aileen’s is so hard to squeeze out but it holds good! Love how you put the cording on and how you hide the knot! Thanks again!
Good tutorial! ❤
Helen, thank you so much for your tutorials. They have helped me finally finish some cross stitch projects. A couple of hours ago I visited the Crafty Grimalkin in Bangor. Yes, I spent $ 😊 Have you seen the Mill Hill Moose? Had to buy it.

Best tutorial. Very clear and easy to follow. Love the tips on the corners. I noticed that you did not interface the stitched piece. Is this because it’s not linen? TFS.
@helend.flosstube

I usually only interface if it's a finish that I'm sewing. I don't want to snap a stitch when I'm stuffing.
Hi Helen. Thanks for your tutorials...very much appreciated. What type of glue are you using. It is cold as you do not seem to be burning your fingers. Keep on teachingnyour valuable knowledge. Carol

It's just regular hot glue. My fingers are probably just used to the burns by now. 😂
Helen I loved this video You’re a talented person. I have a cross stitch humming bird piece that I’ll be trying this method except for the battingI don’t have any. I can’t think of what other material I could use as batting Does it really matter?I planed to just use the sticky mat board then use your method of gluing.

It's harder to make adjustments directly on the sticky board to get it centered. Even something like a piece of craft felt would help. 😊
