I was feeling really low and not in the mood for anything but as soon as you popped up on my You Tube feed I picked up my stitching, watched you flosstube and felt much better. Thanks for being there. Love all your projects and your finshes are wonderful. Especially love your new stitch, the girl with flowers in her hair, that is going on my wish list.

Yay! What a wonderful visit we had in my office this morning. You kept me company while I put in lots of boring data into my computer! Whenever I film my videos I feel like I'm all over the place, but then when I watch them back and edit bit, everything seems fine. I don't feel like you were all over the place at all! ☺️ I really loved seeing Birds and Blackwork Flowers completed. It is so beautiful! And I also love love loved the new kitty pattern with her little legs all stretched out. So cute. You must do that one! Never forget that collecting cross stitching things is its own hobby! There is so much pleasure to be found in browsing kits in stash, and libraries of PDFs. You've also encouraged me to make a list of projects I want to see done by around mid-year! ♥️♥️♥️

Ive been checking to see if you had posted a video. Mr Darcy? Oh my! You are a wonderful stitcher and I look forward to our home visits. You did it Laura, each video is better than the last. You’re an Artist and we all appreciate you so much. We are all here anxiously waiting and you didn’t disappoint us. You’re choices are always on point. My sleep is terrible and I’m miserable with new allergies and aches and pains. I started watching at 22 minutes and now at 11 hours. I finally just gave in and forced myself to stay up. Wow! A really long video! Yay! I got some great stitching done while watching all your lovely little videos! Ooh I love autumn, so your tiny video of you walking on the crunchy fallen leaves made my heart sing! Ou had some great finishes - I especially love those black work birds! I’m so tempted to buy that pattern, but no, I have plenty to stitch and finish! I’m closing in on a finish of a Nora Corbett fairy, Fern. Just some Kreinik and beads to go. Enjoy your stitching and try to get some good sleep. ❤

Your stitching looks perfect. When a project doesn’t make you happy when stitching on it, put it away. I have a sampler like that: I will out put it away for months til it calls my attention to bring it out again,

”It was only 5 stitches but at least it is progress” (on the pear) - that made me pick up my Dark Queen of the earth that I am procrastinating on, and am making me put in a pair of threads into it while watching/listening to you. Thanks for that. :) (I am procrastinating so badly on this but I know why, it because I need to ”think” and ”take desicions” on the few parts I got left to do. I swear, I keep telling myself No New Starts Until DQ is Done! And I ..might soon have finished all my wips but this one. X) Not that that is sucha bad thing, but still..) The sparkly fabric, if it is only a hint, you could make some lovely winter projects on that. That low sun would make the snow look partly pinkish after all. :) May is almost over by now, but seeing all the Mira mays, and other themes people set for themselves, I am here fully expecting a Magpie may. ;) Maybe a marbouro stork may? What other birds start on M? ^^ I can see Mr Mashmallow on a nice purple fabric, if you want something less standard Christmas. Or if you want to do super standards Scandi Christmas, a bright red? Just a suggestion. :)

So much to respond to! Highlights. I love First Snow. European designers do so much with colour and simply done. So glad to see you at the retreat. You will be excited. I did backstitch on my Prairie School Santa! It went well. Still have to finish the cat but I will start on that tonight. You were asking about a fabric choice. I would go with the green and if you are looking for blue 14 ct I will see what I have in my stash and bring it to the next stitching meet up. I have been using the thread keeps from the boys on a new start and they are working really well. I can see buying more in the future. I am sure there was more I wanted to say but I have forgotten. It was good to see a video from you. I hope you are feeling better. Your finish of the Birds and Flowers black work piece is absolutely gorgeous!! I love it so. I think your blue fabric that you plan to use for the piece to commemorate your father will look fantastic. Great choice. Can you tell me the name of the website and the designer of the pattern that you showed with the hollyhock flowers and the rooster with the round scene in it? I tried to find it but couldn’t so if you can share any information about it I would appreciate it. I am so glad that you had such a good time at the retreat. You are making such great progress on your plans for four finishes by the end of June, what fun! I hope you and get your sleep which really does make a big difference in each day. I struggle with sleeping too so I understand how not sleeping can affect us in such a negative way. I have been trying using the Lavendar Essential oil at night and it does seem to help sometimes. Minusta tuntuu että kohta meillä kaikilla on yhtä paljon malleja kuin sinullakin. Olet niin ihanan iloinen kaikista projekteista että siskonikin katsoo videoitasi vaikka ei juurikaan pistele 😆 Just viikonloppuna juteltiin että on jo kuukausi edellisestä videostasi että varmaan saadaan nauttia superpitkästä videosta sueraavaksi. Minulla on kaikki hälyytykset ja muistutukset ja sireenit asennettu että tiedän heti kun lataat uusia videoita mutta edellisestä videostasi ei tullut mitään tietoa. KZreadn syötteeseen vaan ilmaantui suositus videostasi ja olin ihan että mitä mitä milloin tää on ladattu ja miksi minä en siitä saanut tietoa heti!
