So much fun! I couldn’t watch it in one go (or 2 or 3 etc) and o kept forgetting I hadn’t finished your video. So it took me a while to get to the end, but it was such a pleasant surprise every single time that I found out I had more wip parade to enjoy. But I completely forgot all the things a had something to say about. I’m just happy you’re happy again!

Hi Suki! There are no words to describe the awesomeness of your bookshelf 😊I love a lot of your projects, your taste is similar to mine in many areas. I look forward to seeing the progress on your wips. I also love The drawn Thread patterns. I’m almost done with the apple blossom kit. I want to do the garden series by them, and the Welcome series. Silks are incredibly satisfying to work with, aren’t they? Love, love, love❤ And they glide through the fabric smooth like buttah, lol 😂 I haven’t had time to read as much lately, but I can tell you that one of my absolute favorite books of all time (nonfiction) is Messages From The Masters (Tapping into love) by Brian Weiss, M.D.

Hi Suki! LOVED seeing Treasure Hunt Bookshelf in all her glory. 😍 I have Woodland Enchantress as a WIP too - maybe I'll try to do another Ruth Sanderson fairy background first like you...🤔💭 I love listening to audiobooks while I stitch. ( : The Witch Elm has the most peaceful narration I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. The subject is somewhat dark, but the narrator speaks so softly with a lovely Irish accent. I also just started the Dresden Files. It's narrated by the actor who played Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and he's lovely as well. ( :

You asked for book rekommendarions - I highly recommend the Dresden Files - some magic, some myseries, crime and romance. All wrapped up in 17 book series that’s seriously catching and hard to put down. I’ve gone through twice now😅 Jim Butcher is an awesome writer! Love seeing all your beautiful projects of course! Thanks for keeping me stitching company for 3 hours!! I've been reading sooooo many good books this year. It's going to be one of my best years I can already tell. But a fantasy that I recently particularly enjoyed is Fonda Lee's new novela Untethered Sky. It's hawking but with rocs (the giant birds from Arab folklore) so there ends up being a huge science emphasis on the technical way that you would go about training birds that are bigger than you and could kill you without batting an eye. I super enjoyed it and it was a fast and engaging read. But it was a bit gory 😅

Congrats on your 1.5 year flosstubiversary! Love seeing all of your WIPs and finishes! And seeing Treasure Hunt Bookshelf fully unrolled! The back is way cool! I love the little Discord community you have created! Sounds like lots of fun stitching and family stuff in your future! For a fun read for you and Kailyn, I would suggest the Janitors series by Tyler Whitesides...sixth graders discover that schools are infested with magical creatures that feed off of brain waves that make kids fall asleep, get distracted, or get the dumbs! Janitors (not custodians!) are supposed to fight them and protect the schools and students...but the Bureau of Educational Maintenance has taken a turn and have become the villains (dun dun dun!) There's a sequel book (new series maybe?) in September, so of course I'm going through all 5 books again :P Hope you are having a great stitchy day! Hugs!

Fully finishing things isn't a strength for some of us. I stitched 2 gifts, bought finishing supplies, mounted stitching on backing board, got the backing fabric on the mounting board...and now I cannot motivate myself to stitch them together and put trim on. I'm literally 2/3 done and it's just lingering. So perhaps you just need to look for a finisher to take away the mental hurdle of finishing.

One of the best narrators of audiobooks in my opinion is George Guidall. I especially liked his reading of Cheaper by the Dozen by Frank and Ernestine Gilbreth. Hello, Suki! I haven't checked in on you for a while (not sure if you'll even remember, I tend to be a silent watcher), because I haven't been doing too well for the past few months, but I thought an anniversary WIP parade would be the perfect time to get back into your channel and flosstube in general. Please keep being your wonderful, genuine self, I adore watching your videos! :D My book recommendation: I would tell you pretty much anything by Brandon Sanderson because he's amazing in the fantasy genre, but The Stormlight Archive is definetely his best work. Alternatively, if you're not in the mood for high fantasy and long sagas, during my low time I fell in love with fantasy romance and A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas and became obsessed with the series. Hope I got your interest peaked and that maybe you'll have a look at them!

Hi Suki. I enjoy your floss tubed and love all your WIPS. I am right now working on the HEADS Gandolf. I am half done with the second row. I have been Stitching since 1994 and never have counted how many stitches. Do you count each stich of the X or an X as a stitch? All you guys talk about stitch count.🥴 My favorite books right now are the 3 Sarah J Maas series. Thanks for sharing.🤗

I only talk about stitch count for my digital patterns 😅 otherwise, I have no idea how many stitches I do. I don't like to keep track manually. But Pattern Keeper tells me numbers and all I have to do is a little bit of calculation to know those stitch counts. It scratches my nerdy itch! I have the Gandalf pattern! One day I'll start it. Like.... Years from now.

I was watching your flosstube this morning and I’m in love with your haed book shelves. I’m just wondering about what kind and size frame you’ve been using. I have a haed that I’m sort of afraid of and one off my excuses for not having started it is that I don’t have a big enough frame and/or scroll. I also wonder about the two over one technique you said you’ve been using. I’ve just recently started stitching and I kind of don’t really understand how that works

When I was learning Japenese, and told by my ex who was born and still lives there, Suki is just a like, or strong like. They don't have an true way to say they "love" someone, but that would be the lesser way for it, based on my knowledge.
