See, this is why I watch your channel. Life happens and you don’t hide it behind your cross stitch. It’s okay to be upset about your hair. Hair is the one thing we can choose, about our body, how it looks/styled. When we can’t choose because of some situation that can be very upsetting. So it’s okay. I’m new to your channel, but had so much fun seeing all of your projects. I’m a LOTR fan, so seeing all the different projects was cool. I vote for D for your family, and maybe a deep burgundy. It could also give it a woodsy feel while being elegant. I’m so sorry for what you are dealing with. I’ve been through it when taking methotrexate several years ago, but at least I knew why. I hope you get some good solid answers soon. And I believe that we are emotional about our hair since it is our “crowning glory”. Praying for you.

Oh my heart goes out to you❤ life is so unfair. Covid was a horrible time. I, too, got horrendously sick for over a year and no-one really listened. Still somehow recovering from those traumas. My prayers and warm well wishes go to you for a positive outcome.

I am praying for you, Leann! I hope you get some answers to your hair loss situation. I am going through a similar ordeal and have switched doctors to hopefully get some answers myself. I am literally terrified to wash my hair because of the amount that falls out each time I do on top of the hair coming out when I brush it. It's scary when you dont know what the heck is going on. On a lighter note, I think you should put an L in a light to medium mossy green color on your gorgeous Lord of the Rings fabric. 😊

You don't have to apologies for having feeling and letting them show. It's better to get it out then to hold it in. Your mental health as you said is important. So talk to your dr and make them listen if they don't then find one that will. You are a great person and don't deserve all this stress. Take it one day at a time. I will keep you in my prayers and hope you get some answers. On a different note. All your progress and projects are coming along and they are beautiful. If doing the goal thing is stressing you out then stop it now no one is going to be mad at you if you don't meet your goals. Stitching is supposed to be relaxing and fun having too many goals is stressful. Relax and enjoy your stitching. ((HUGS))

Don't apologize for letting emotions out. Better than keeping it in and letting stress do crazy things to you. I also had some major hair loss due to a medication I was taking. My after shower left overs were almost like yours. I too had hair just falling off my head (weird feeling, isn't it?). Anyway, just want to say that hopefully it is a reaction to the steroids. Mine stopped falling out about 6-7 months after quitting my med. They stay in your system a long time. And even tho I am much older than you, it also surprised me that I was bothered by it. Healing thoughts and prayers being sent your way.

I love seeing all your WIPs and can’t wait for A Beautiful Place to start! I so sympathize with your hair loss. I lost a ton after covid in 2022, and everything that came back in was grey. Then, last summer, I started losing even more. I had covid again after StitchCon and attributed it to that, but it just kept coming out! I’ve always had really thick hair and I feel like in between the two times, I lost over half my hair. It’s awful, and so, so emotional. I don’t even particularly like my hair, lol, and losing it was still traumatic. I pray that your doctor listens to you and is able to give you some answers.

Oh, honey, I wish I could give you a big, tight hug...right now that is my love language. I hope it's the drugs and nothing more. You are beautiful, hair or not. Your pieces are amazing...those dinos look so real! I have so many pieces going or I'd join your SAL. Yes, stitching and knitting and quilting keep my brain sharp and less fretful, and those come after at least a half hour in the Word. Truth where there is falsehood, love where there is cruelty. Yes, let's give those extra 5 stitches their credit! I have started to self crop some of my order purchases. Otherwise I feel like I would never stitch them due to their sheer size.
