You are an amazing inspiration to keep stitching!!! I absolutely LOVE every single Sampler you show us you are stitching! I'll be moving to a brand new home in a few months, so I'll be kitting up and getting a few Samplers done before we move, ready for the NEW house!!! I'm a pretty fast stitch, myself. Every free second I'm picking it up and putting in a few stitches!! My next project I want to kit up is Strawberry Fields Forever and I LOVE Vintage Flowers! I have both of them, and I want to get A Floral Motif Sampler going ASAP, after I get it!! Oh! I did buy The Vanity Sampler! Yes! It's a pdf, so I almost forgot about it! I am going to try putting that one in Pattern Keeper and TRY to see how that goes! It'll be my first attempt! I do have another Sampler all kitted up called To the Moon by The Wishing Thorn. I'd like to make that for my dad, realistically, I don't know that I'll have it done in time for his birthday on November 4th OR Christmas? Hmmm??? That IS on Pattern Keeper - that has been my delay in starting it! It's IN a Q-snap ready to go, starting in the center! I just NEED to dive IN and DO IT!!! I'll let you know how it goes! Thank you . Moving to a new home is exciting. I hope the move goes smoothly. I am glad I am not the only one who has a a lot of stitching ready to be kitted up and started. Strawberry fields forever and vintage flowers are both beautiful samplers. I have a floral motif kitted ready to started sometime next year. I have not used pattern keeper yet either. My friends all seem to enjoy using it for their stitching. But I still like following my paper pattern. Good luck with finishing the piece for your father on time- fingers are crossed for you. I am already heavily planning for 2024 b/c of WIPGO, it keeps me on track even on my full coverages and I really need the continuous motivation on them. I am hoping to get some Christmas stitching in with some ornaments soon. Always such great progress on your videos and continual inspiration. Happy Stitching!

Nice update on the sampler stitching. :) I don’t mind the light colour on the sampler. The model photo has very low contrast too. But you probably want to decide soon before you stitch too many. I love the patchwork grass - that’ll be fun to stitch I reckon.

Beautiful samplers on your wall. I'm almost finished ( one more motif and filling in the flowers on one side of border) GH 1857. It stitches relatively quickly doesn't it? Doing mine in DMC, couldn't get wdw, but I thinks it still looks fabulous. I used 40ct Antiquity from Number12StitchCo. Don't see many stitching it, which is a shame.

Loved watching your latest flosstubes and seeing all your beautiful work. I too love hands across the sea samplers. Just a question I was wondering what method you use to hang your samplers on the wall. Do you drill nails into the wall or is there another way you hang them to secure them.

Hi Nic . Thank you for watching. I would have to say that I first fell in love with samplers back in 2017. I had been stitching so many mirabilia ladies and was looking for something different to stitch . One of the first that I stitched was by Jardin Prive . Then I started the red house sampler by the sampler company. The more I found available on line the more I fell in love with them. Especially once I discovered Hands Across The Sea Samplers. I love the history behind samplers. I am hoping to be able to catch up with one of the Friday night stitches soon. Happy stitching Nerissa❤️❤️

Thank you. I have a reasonable fabric stash, that I have accumulated over the years. I like a lot of neutral coloured fabrics. I like to pull the theads and lay them on my fabrics. I always try 3 or 4 different ones to see what I like best .happy stitching Nerissa
