Ah, I just pinpointed the day you discovered the zoom feature, lol. Thank you for answering this -- you linked it to a question on the previous video I watched, where someone asked how to keep flowers cool if you don't have a cool room. I don't think it was answered though, since fridges run at about 3 C. Air conditioners only cool a maximum of 15-20 degrees from the temperature outside (which is nothing to sneeze at, really).

I found that AC is good enough and what's been almost more important is controlling the amount of light that flowers have exposure to. For me, a cool-ish space + super dark room = longer lasting blooms 🤓

Look up what a cool bot is … it hooks up to most window units and overrides the switch that governs the temp and allow it to drop down below the units reg. cut off. The WiFi version lets you control and monitor from your cell phone. Amazon has it but there are other companies copying the device so do your research and see what is best for you

There's a few great resources we have here in Australia - there's a book called "Caring for Cut Flowers" by Rod Jones (not sure if it's available worldwide?). The other resource we've found invaluable is "What Cut Flower is That?" So my basement in underground therefore theres no windows and all year round it stays cool around 60 degrees. Do you think that temperature will still work?

It's a great place to start! The darkness goes a long way in helping extend the shelf life of the flowers. 🤩 It's worth keeping an eye on them and if you find they aren't lasting as long as you'd like figuring out how to lower the temperature will also help.
