Not true. Yes, he did something wrong long ago as a teenager, but the fact he currently did something wrong while being in a position of authority in a semi-police car is just defenseless and flat out ignorant. If he truly changed and was a model citizen, then he would have continued on with his normal life minus the clerical error. He will be remembered for being a habitual criminal and should face his punishment that he deserves. It's not people that make it hard it's the pharmaceutical industry I'm America and the hospitals who make it hard because most drugs should be given right over the counter like they are in most other countries but what you have to do is get a prescription for these drugs. And they are extremely expensive here but not in other countries don't speak on something that you can look up on the web. This is all about being legalized drug dealers that's what this system is built on if you haven't been able to figure that out it's because your indoctrinated. Once they figured out a way to make sure they can make a profit off taxing Marijuana they are decriminalising it. It's all about money for them all about profits as many people know their are cures for many things been proven in other countries but they would rather treat you then cure you for profits. His 90 pills a month isn't the reason it's harder to get the drugs it's because insurance companies are not wanting to pay for them because they are over priced in this country for profits.

It is amazing how it's always the one that went through the cracks of the system is the one that breaks the systems code of ethics. We are only as good as our worst fellow worker in any job that we do. Do not despair, at least you found the problem and are correcting it so as this does not happen again anytime soon. Great job and with total integrity for the office you hold.

Yes sir!! The world would be a better place if we had more officers like Sheriff Grady Judd. Follows the constitution and defends his everyone that follows the law. If you break the law whether you're a cop or not he will haul your butt off to jail. Gotta appreciate that. Even more, if you're a cop and break the law he expects the law to come down even harder on that cop because the public trusted you and you broke that trust. Nothing worse than a crooked cop or politician.

And this volunteer was obviously held accountable. I think what the OP meant is hopefully the actions of this one guy doesn’t cause the volunteer program to be canceled as they provide an important service to the community and this is an isolated incident. Don’t want one bad egg to ruin it for everyone. This Sheriff took the situation seriously and put a stop to it, good job on his part.
