Building the Base of the Future, the base operating unit and host wing is the 325th Fighter Wing of the Air Combat Command and is also home to the 44th Fighter Group, First Air Force, the 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group and the Air Force Civil Engineer Center. Tyndall Air Force Base, along with Naval Support Activity Panama City, provides Bay County with over 28,900 jobs and an economic impact of $3.162 billion dollars.
