Hi Josh, Does this interviewee have any pictures from his long stay? Plus pictures of the prisons he did time that exist now and prisons that no longer exist. Furthermore he states that the prison system changed multiple times. How did it change and how many times? Great job so far and looking fwd to more parts!

We really need to differently get education classes, reading, writing, arts and crafts, mental counseling, drug, alcohol, and so much more. Florida likes filling up the prosions an no services for these men an women. Lets try to bring awareness. How can we do this. I grow many types of plants that i would like to try next year start donating stuff to Florida State Prison. As my cousin is in Bonifay Fl at Holmes correctional institution. He said there is no classes, no schooling, no books i. Library not medical, dental and or futuring their education. Its wrong this is why many return to the prison system cause there is no offsets for these offenders. Good video Death.

@@chemidedashevetsi I'm not sure, im prob gonna just stay away from that topic, but its 2020 I'm sure you could dig up something on this guy if he did do that many years.. I'm speaking on the message I received from watching it and him speaking on the laws changing and whatnot.. he seemed, if he did do all he was talking about, like he was trying to help others fix their own situations if they met the circumstances.. but coming out of prison and not having any tattoos covering his whole body after 30+yrs.. seems odd, or maybe he just stayed out the way and wasnt into all that never know.. I wasnt in there with him so I cant say if he is real or fake..

Looks like that dude did some studying in jail. He seems extremely smart. He has to thank God he got a second chance. Great interview brother

That's what confinement does, it causes epiphany after learning something you knew, but didn't see it for what it was. My confinement maybe different, but still it slows you down long enough to smell the roses. Being a prisoner in my own body, in a cell or hospital, you'd be able to learn ledigation, like.... *"Why wasn't l sentenced to death, you must still fine worth in me and that worth wouldn't just to see me waste away locked up."* There's so much that your mind subliminally learns and directly learns from the source.👍
This man truly gives credence to the old adage, “Not all who wander are lost.” He’s proof a man can change.

@@littlemonsterpants Many "kids" that get locked up are much worse than a old man with similar charges. The problem with our "justice" system is that it, largely, fails to take the individual into account. As our society's morals break down that system is being overwhelmed. This has lead to injustice on an industrial scale and it looks like it will only get worse. In our time of instant gratification and quick fixes, easy answers are few and far between.

The title alone got me dude, salute to this guy. Love the videos death.
I have so much respect for this guy. He sees the big picture, and knows that he represents a lot of potential parolees. He knows that if he messes up, it is a bad look on granting parole. That is maturity. It isn't just about him.
God has a purpose for this man no doubt
Loved it man! This was an amazing interview and it's good to see another person who is trying to better themselves. Much love
In Michigan, you actually see one member of a 3 person board who decides your fate. You talk to them over video. Generally, if you’re in front of the board, one of the three members has already voted for your release. Then, the person you see signs your parole or denies, and it goes to a third deciding member. Five years ago, NOONE would get their first parole. We were given classes as requirements to go home, and were denied entry to the class UNTIL AFTER WE SEEN THE BOARD, and then given a 12, 18 or 24 month continuance. The system was a complete sham. It was all about keeping beds full. The parole board shouldn’t be there to re-sentence you. They should evaluate your behavior in prison and capacity for change. If someone gets a 5year min 20 year max sentence, the judge seen fit for you to go home with good behavior after 5 years. The parole board shouldn’t be able to say “due to the nature of your crime, we deny you parole.” THE NATURE OF YOUR CRIME NEVER CHANGES!Under a republican governor OR a privatized prison system, it’s all about making a profit off of prisoners: prisoners are a commodity to the state!

Much respect from one convict to another, God bless🙏🏽 Great Interview 💯🙏🏽
Death, you are doing fantastic. Your charisma alone makes your channel standout. The questions you ask that are tailored to help those who may be facing prison time soon.. just keep doin you bro. You're killing it. The guy you are interviewing really opens the door to show us what his experience has taught him. I love his perspective. He's got some really good points and phrases. SO GOOD
We need him on more. He should be a motivational speaker for sure.
Best interviewee that I have watched in quite a while. Takes responsibility for his actions and this is by far his best attribute. Not many people do that nowadays. Much respect
😆😂 No arson or sex crimes... "They didn't say murder!" This is one of the most powerful interviews I've seen of yours, Josh. This guy needs his own channel... I hope he starts one. I would love to know more about the victim's sister's mindset and how long it took her to be an advocate for him. I'm a family member of a murder victim in South Florida, and 13 years later I still can't forgive the murderer. He was a friend of mine at the time too. I hope someday I can, but I don't see it happening...

_ UNica _ we (Robert, myself and two other people who were juveniles that were also sentenced to Life and got released) have a channel in which we talk about this sort of stuff and hopefully she will come on the program at some point to talk about her experience of forgiving her brother’s killer. The link for the channel is in the comment pinned by Josh at the top of the comment section. If you want more information about healing and victim forgiveness, there is a program called restorative justice. There is a lady in Florida who is a big advocate. She and the person who killed her daughter and her grandson wrote a book together called Wildflowers in the Median about their journey to heal.

It's not like it's very hard to go back there. If the dude in your example can't take it out here, then why doesn't he just go back? He sounds like he's miserable where he is now.

Much love big bro love the vids
I really appreciate all the work that Robert is putting in, getting his name and his story out here so he can help those who are still behind the gate get their chance at freedom. There are quite a few that got shut out when that small window with the courts closed and I personally know at least one who just needs to come home already. I cannot believe they still got him locked up-one of the most stand up people I ever met in prison. Anyway, I am more than impressed with what Robert has been able to achieve since he’s been out and I’m really proud and happy to be called his friend. He’s solid people.
Wow , friggin amazing interview, well done 👏
