Florida Inshore Saltwater Fishing Ponce Inlet with Captain Mike!

Спорт

Well I finally had a second to sit down and edit this thing...I've been running about 110 mph the last couple weeks. Working, traveling, editing, working some more, and of course fishing a bit.
This is the second video from my 2 day trip to Florida, my friend Chris booked this half day Charter with Captain Mike in Ponce Inlet. I'm a complete saltwater fishing noob, so please bare with me on this one. Had a blast, learned a lot from Capt. Mike and caught a ton of fish. We went out in hopes of some Red Drum and Snook, fished some live bait which is something new(er) to me, and had a nice day on the water.
Just a reminder, I said in this video to go check out Lawson Lindsey's channel. While I know nothing about saltwater fishing, I'm trying to get my feet wet and he is a beast! I really hope to get out with him sometime in the near future.

Gotta come back during the mullet run to get the big fish out of the inlet. I'm a first mate for Capt. Fred (Frenchy) who is also a buddy of mike. I grew up fishing these local waters and they produce some slobs.

Jack Crevalle not edible? That guide is missing out. When you prepare them wrongly, they taste horrible, but if you do it right, they're really good tasting

    1) If you do not bleed the jack immediately and put it on ice, the meat will go bad and have a huge bloodline in it. If you do bleed it and put it on ice, you will get a nice firm white meat. Also, to remove the fishy flavor, you need to either soak the fillets in milk or water. After that you'll have a good tasting fillet.
