I have a few heavy producing tropical vegetables, and seeds if you want. I don't have land so it sucks. Let me know beforehand and I will root them for you. My brother will be at USF this fall, once everything open, so I will be in Tampa a lot.

I agree about the size pen those pigs have to live in. Is there any space for them to roam? If they don't have room for the pigs, then they just should not have them in the first place. I was enjoying the video until I saw the pigs crammed into a small space.

James prigioni (on you tube) built an entire food forest on beach sand in coastal New Jersey. He’s a huge advocate for permaculture and wood chip gardening.

I’m in zone 9a in coastal MS- so the same climate (maybe slightly-5-10% -less humid lol we run 75-90% humidity) I have a question- when talking about stressing the star fruit tree to force blooming/setting fruit- would this work on other types of flowering trees like mayhaw, or moringa?

Wow he knows a lot about mulberries... just a tip... Verdant tea sells mulberry leaf as a tisane, but for the tisanes that are like tea my favorite has been Gan Zao Ye. It's so good on it's own we have it for the pleasure of it.

I got katuk from the last seller he showed, unfortunately the plant had mosiac virus and passed it to two other plants before I caught it. Shame. Looking forward to getting a healthy plant. It does well.

I've grown Katuk from the seeds it produces - started with one plant and now have about 15-20 growing them in 4-10ft hedges at heights of 4-10 feet for privacy. And, of course, we eat them.

i wish i knew what type of ficus to get myself so i can graft my figs too and actually harvest figs every once in a while in florida.

I’m in coastal MS - similar climate (9a) so I have the standard ‘brown turkey’ fig I grew from a neighbors tree by taking a cutting. It is forming figlettes now and is one of the easiest figs to grow in this climate- However- I was just gifted some real beauties- a Sicilian red, a Syrian sweet joy, and a vasilika sika- I actually did NOT know about the nematode issue- now I’m not sure if we have that here in our clay soils (since Florida is ‘sandy’, a different media entirely) but I wasn’t going to take the chance- I’ve been watching the millennial gardener’s channel and I will be using his method of growing in 5gallons. I can control media, sun, wind, and even water if need be.

Posted just as I step inside from may patio garden cursing about why my fruit trees which were bought from a Florida nursery but grown in containers in Georgia for 3+ years and recently relocated with me to Sarasota!!! Not even my seedlings will grow. 9 months now and only 1 inch tall!

@BlackHoleSun I have started different seeds in different soil and locations around the yard with the same results. I haven't tossed the first ones because I think it is fascinating and curious how they are still alive but not growing at all. I did just notice a new flush leaves on my mango trees. 🤞🏽

So was it just me or did he feed the cheeto wrapper to the pigs🤔...

Hi there, I wonder if you can help me. I recently had a stroke of misfortune in my garden going back about a week ago. My wife served me a cheese sandwich in the garden while I was preparing the garden for summer. I sat down by the pond and noticed that my wife had left some pickled onions in a jar on the side for me also. After finishing my lunch I began clearing a area designated for this years flowers where I collapsed with terrible stomach pains. An ambulance was called and I was taken into hospital. My wife explain to the medical staff that I had eaten the majority of this years daffodil bulbs with my lunch. Since I arrived at hospital I have not been able to go to toilet. I was told by the chief medical consultant not to worry as they should all come out in the spring.

We have a mulberry tree 🌳 on the rooftop garden in taiwan 🇹🇼 :) I grow up with mulberry :) we harvest the leaves to feed the worms 🐛 everyone has one as a pet at home 🏡 we kids will compete see who can get the worm 🐛 into the butterflies 🦋 who wins

Help. Southwest Florida. I make my own potting soil and sterilize it with boiling water. I'm getting 20% germination and the seedlings get lanky and then die. Tomatoes and brassicas. What am I doing wrong?

Tomatoes, you take the seedlings and remove the bottom leaves you plant all but the top, 1/3 the little hairs root. You have sterile soil so need build the soil.

Flint corn is grown up north. The south grows dent corn, and some varieties can be eaten fresh as well as dried for grinding.

Constructive Feedback: Consider getting a mic cover for wind. Your video may have great information, but it is nearly impossible to listen to. They cost approximately $30.
