I love this meaning!

"Get your filthy fingers out of my pie" is slang for "stay out of my business". This song seems to be about an abusive man, who I think takes advantage of a girl, then after he's done with her she sleeps with one eye open because she has become cautious. The song is from the man's perspective, who seems to believe that he is the actual victim. it's quite disturbing, yet so very good! Florence sings her songs with character

I feel like this song is about the attacker's point of view in an abusive relationship, a rape, and it shows how they think they can get away with it because they feel the attackee deserved it. It's pie, the lyric websites say so. It's kind of like when someone says they want their piece of the pie. Pie is used as a reference to something as a whole that can be divided up. So when Florence says get your fingers out of her pie, she's saying "Hey bitch, this pie is mine and i'm not sharing so get your fucking hands off it."

I was listening to this song one time and right as the chorus started there was this huge blast of thunder and by the end of the song there was a full blown thunder/lightning/wind/rain storm going on outside.It sounds great with rainymood playing, but that doesn't beat a real storm.

Love this song. I always thought it was about an abusive lesbian. "Pie" is also slang for a woman's genitalia, and putting your fingers into one's pie in that context is manual stim. I always thought it was therefore a double entendre--you aren't getting with me again because you broke my heart, so don't try to touch me, and by the way, I'm deadly dangerous to mess with and you learned the hard way. I didn't know about the original version, which lines up better with your interpretation.
