Love your finale! your style has a unique balance between loose and defined. Been contemplating learning to paint but the cost of supplies keep holding me back 😊. Doesnt stop me appreciating painting vids though!

Thank you! But with watercolour you can just start with dollar store paints and mixed media sketchbook paper and basic brushes! You don't need expensive supplies to have fun and give it a go. I started out just using my kids cheap watercolour set and printer paper and I had a blast. Then slowly just bought more expensive supplies. Give it a go!!!! Thanks for watching :)

Thanks for sharing! I like, "The Watercolour Flower Painter's A to Z," book by Adelene Fletcher... part of Royal Botanic Gardens - KEW... Its beautiful paintings of flowers are realistic, so you can interpret however you like! You've done wonderful work, painting in your own style and colors. I love this! I am wondering though, how do you copy these pictures and avoid getting in trouble with the authors over copyrights, especially if you sell your paintings? Is it okay because you can never actually reproduce something perfectly even if you try...or do you change them enough to make them different?

Good Question! I don't sell the ones I copy to a tee. Only the ones I've put enough of my own spin or changes on it. Hope this helps!

Oh Ive seen a few other artists using this book. Will check it out!

I purchased the "Flower Colour Guide" book hoping the pictures would allow me to see the parts of the flowers in order to draw them realistically and paint them, unfortunately that was not the case because the pictures are small and NONE of the pictures are in high definition, which makes it impossible to see any details. There is not a lot of flower variety. Yes, the book has a lot of flowers but it's the same flower in different colors. There is not one tropical flower in the whole book. I can't recommend this book to anyone that likes to paint detailed and realistic flowers. I've found other books in the market with detailed and clearer high definition pictures, but if you like to paint loosely, instead of detailed, I guess the book could help.
