Floquet Theory

WEB: faculty.washington.edu/kutz/a...
This lecture is part of a series on advanced differential equations: asymptotics & perturbations. This lecture explores the stability of periodic solutions in dynamical systems. Specifically, flow maps and Poincare sections are introduced to characterize the periodic behavior, along with Floquet theory to formally compute the stability of solutions.
