Backside Story features the most exciting elevator to date, with new puzzles, characters, and floors to explore. In fact, this expansion nearly doubles the total number of puzzles in Floor Plan 2! If you’ve been wanting more Floor Plan, you won’t be disappointed!
On your first return to Puzzl, the receptionist will direct you to check out something down the stairs in the lobby. If you are starting from a new save file, you can access Backside Story within about 10-15 minutes. Play up to the point where you enter the East Tower (the first elevator after the tutorial in the storefront), and the receptionist will have instructions for you when you return to the lobby.

@@99THVR I'll have to look into lighting requirements for the room. Your control is so much finer than mine and you never seem to get things like your hands going wonky. And you can clap... I tried that last night and it just smacked the controllers together before the clap happened.
On the new cat floor it didn’t load and I couldn’t even play

If you are playing from an old save file it should start right away. The receptionist will direct you to a door that's making noise. If you are starting a new game, you have to play about 10-15 minutes before you can access it. Here is a quote from the Floor Plan 2 store page: " If you are starting from a new save file, you can access Backside Story within about 10-15 minutes. Play up to the point where you enter the East Tower (the first elevator after the tutorial in the storefront), and the receptionist will have instructions for you when you return to the lobby."

🤔 Maybe it didn't automatically update. If you have the dlc installed you should see a picture of the main character in your save slot around the same place where it tells you how many red harry's you have. If you're 100% sure the dlc is installed and it just doesn't work for some reason, the only thing I can think of would be to uninstall and reinstall the game.

🤔 Maybe start a new game and do what it says for starting from a new save slot. Play until you enter the East Tower, then return to the receptionist and see if that triggers it.
