As an empath, Floor becomes one with the lyrics and music. It is a curse and a blessing to her, but I believe it is why she is such an exceptional talent.

May as well give Floor the keys to all of music, because she owns every song that she sings.

Floor said she cannot sing a song if she doesn't feel it and it shows. Her performances in this show just got better and better the more she "warmed up" with the other singers. Exactly the same happened a few years later in the german version of Beste Zangers (sadly no official video on yt).

She surprised every other singer on this show who knew nothing about metal music or Nightwish. Her first performance was to the opera singer Henk Poort when she sang a rock version of Vilja Lied from The Merry Widow.

Whisper singing from the queen.

There are versions with intro and outlook talking in Dutch, with subtitles for the rest of the world. That adds to the fun.

Even Lady Gaga liked this cover of her song. And Floor said that she likes Lady Gaga not only because of her music but also because she is a strong "stubborn" woman who goes her own way. I am not a Lady Gaga fan but it would be interesting if these both power-women would meet one day.

I go by the Dutch/Flemish pronounciation. Ofcourse my accent is different, so their might be the issue. I heard many other people say my pronounciation is better than other reactors. 😅
