One team comp that I was debating including on the second half is a Reverse Melt team: Bennett, Sucrose, Xiangling, Rosaria. I ended up leaving it out because the video was getting pretty long as is, and Rosaria's Burst and Skill are difficult to aim correctly without splitting up enemies, so I don't recommend it for players who aren't used to using her. When executed correctly, the team can give you an extremely fast clear, so I wanted to mention it here as one more possible option. Alternatively, if you put Kaeya in place of Rosaria, it's much easier to push enemies into each other, rather than splitting them apart, but my Kaeya wasn't strong enough to get a clear with him.

surprisingly, i could comfortably clear the second half with furina+neuv (first half arlecchino zhongli), while i know most people dont have them as strong as mine, my point is that hydro is enough to deal with the electro lectors and third phase of baptist (wait out the second phase) with these two duos i cleared it 9*

200% right. I could clear the previous abyss - that was identical to the current one - without that much effort, now, it seems they added like 20% more strnegth to those lectors' shields.

Burgeon Kazuha is actually one of my fav teams 😭, it’s so crazy how synergistic it is despite burgeon not being all that great, glad someone talked about it.

I can't help hearing Ousia aligned as "OSHA aligned" Navia, as a major business owner, of course knows all about occupational safety and health.

I've been playing the game since launch, and never really cared about abyss, but it has been my goal to clear it once for the achievement. With my only 2 invested teams, I was able to get to the very last chamber, where I realized that i cannot proceed since my second team was a freeze one. I then swapped them around and while it was a lot harder, managed to clear the first chamber, but then got stuck on chamber 2 again, thinking that I simply cannot do the abyss. Your suggestion to use the ousia aligned sword to break the ice shield single handedly saved my run, and I was able to finally achieve my first ever floor 12 clear. Thank you!

i ended up using my level 20 dehya with no artifacts that i just pulled on second half with neuvi, kazu and zhongli cuz i was using international on the first half and had no other usable off field pyros. her burst was actually useful against the lectors lol, and if you have enough dps to get them to shield up early, neuvi's hydro can whittle down their shields too overtime.

the issue with dehya is that her pyro application outside of her burst sucks , and one burst is not gonna be enough to destroy the lector's shield , she has like +250 ER in that team since you will need pyro again in chamber 3 , you may Aswell just use amber at that point lol , she has way better pyro app and low cost burst

@@TheLastAirbender3468 not really how i used her. her off field pyro was used specifically for neuvi's 3rd stack and to consistently trigger the current abyss blessing. her burst was never used outside of breaking the abyss lectors' shields, so ER was a non issue. and with the combination of kazuha's anemo, zhongli's pillar and massive burst and neuvi's hydro, the shields were gone with ample time remaining. of course, as i said, this requires you to have enough DPS on neuvi to burst down the first two waves and the lectors' HP quick enough. and i didnt use this team for the third chamber.

@@_mako you do not need sustained offield pyro specifically to get 3 stacks on Neuvillette , Amber can also give him a stack and she's much better than dehya in breaking shields , and since you're already using zhongli you don't even need dehya's defensive utility But you do you ofc that was just a suggestion

Thank you for this! I was stuck on this floor for days, and I knew there were details I was missing, especially in regards to positioning. I only started getting 36 stars since the Wenut in 4.4, so some of these enemies really kick my butt, lol. I kept trying Arlecchino with the lectors, but I wasn't dodging well enough and she kept dying. I was using Xiangling, Bennett, Zhongli and Navia for the first half, and I was finishing fast enough that I didn't want to change them, even though Arle *really* needed both Zhongli and Bennett. On a whim, I changed out Zhongli for Chiori because I have NO artifacts for my other geo characters (and funnily enough, she has two unleveled pieces) BUT! Tamoto ended up producing shards more consistently during the Coppelius fight whereas Zhongli's pillar kept getting destroyed if I didn't place it just right. And I often placed it slightly too far away, so it wasn't making shards anyway. I was still managing to finish the fight around the 9-minute mark with him, but I wanted to see if Chiori could sub for him. Thrilled that it worked, lolol. My plan was then to use Zhongli with Arle, Kazuha, and Yelan instead but my brain went - what if Furina + Layla + Neuvi + Kazuha instead?? In my many previous attempts, freezing the enemies with double cryo/hydro seemed to warrant easier clears since I dodge like a potato, even though it was still taking me down to 6:30. Diona's shields were nice, but the cryo application wasn't consistent enough. I stole random Tenacity pieces off other characters for Layla (she's leveled but I've never used her) and she ended up getting me through! I also got better at pulling the lectors together with Kazuha and avoiding the ulti drain towards my later runs. I literally finished RIGHT at the 7-minute mark and thought for a moment I didn't get it. That third star felt EARNED, hahaha. Sorry for the wall of text, but I wanted to show what worked for me in case other people need some inspiration. It's pretty neat that there are so many viable teams, and I was absolutely shocked that it was Chiori and Layla that pulled me through. A lot of my artifacts are mediocre at best, but I do have a lot of patience for experimenting, lol.

Never thought on Kazuha in a Burgeon team like this. I did it with Nahida, Thoma, Furina and Jean to clear the 2nd half but I suffered a little with lacking of good crowd controlling 😂 Maybe next cycle I could give him a chance, but don't wanna quit Benny from my Navia team 1st half... Maybe is the return of "Soup" team (Hyperbloom Kuki + Thoma)? Let's see. Thanks again for the good job, Jyo. I'm a veteran but I love your videos and your dedication on them. Finally got 36 stars, my second ever 36. this chamber 2 was stuch at 2 stars for me for a while, but I finally got used to coppelius' cryo shield timing so that i could time my dps windows optimally, and I guess I got lucky with the lecters. I somehow didn't get hit enough that they could drain my energy to deny xianglings burst from coming back to kill them. They killed my Arlecchino around 20 seconds before the 7 minute mark, but xiangling did enough damage to their shields at that point to kill them just in time.

Gosh, I was going crazy when even with your help I failed my 3 stars. What worked for me was, Zhongli, Arlecchino, Nahida, Kuki, and Bennet, Xianling, XingQiu Kazuha. Thank you for the advices

My only built pyro's were Xiangling and Bennet, and I used them on Rational First half of floor 12-3, so I brute forced the second half with Fridge Neuvi with Furina, Charlotte and Nahida. Suprisingly it worked, got 3 stars with like 5 seconds to spare

Thanks for the tip on the lectors. Let's hope I can clear 3 stars on that second chamber tonight. EDIT: Cleared it. Finally, 36 stars.

Who would've guessed thundering fury would be so good for Bennett in this abyss. It works for the same reason it does for Keqing in aggravate teams. Lower skill CD.

I use Chevy on first half. Can time the aiming shot nicely.

I was hoping you would show one with Arlecchino. I’ve been using neuvi on the first side with Arle on the second and I cannot full star. Not even close. I feel like my builds aren’t terrible so I’m should be able to do much better than I am.

Somehow a double hyperbloom clear these floor 12 very easy. I use Neuve, Furina, Raiden, DMC first part Nahida, Xingqiu, Yelan, Kuki Second parts with nahida as the onfielder. It's actually too much Hydro applications so you can switch Yelan or Xingqiu with layla to be more comfortable.

I am hard stuck at 32 stars lol , i get 2 stars instead of 3 by just 4 seconds, can i use arlechino kazuha , benny and zhongli against the abyss lec..?

Hi Jyo, for sucrose, is it better to build and use her as a quickswap support or as a driver?

you always build her full EM with some ER , in a team that has an on field carry (Arlecchino / Diluc /Keqing ...) you just cast her skill/burst and swap out . but in teams where there is no on field DPS like taser / national (with Xingqiu) / Fischl-Beidou aggravate .. she is a pretty good driver .. for the weapons she has 2 great options Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers or Sacrificial fragment

5:20 I have never seen anything more disgusting than the 2 electro heralds at the end of floor 12-2-2, they have the most disgusting shield that exists, but the worst thing is that with their electro attacks they eliminate your burst recharge and your rotation went to the ground. drain. Thanks for the mention to start the second half from one of the ends of the line at 4:33. I may have to use that technique if I can't strengthen my builds for the abyss reset, because the only reason I was able to clear in time right in this cycle is the powerful Abyssal Moon blessing.

I was able to get all but the last star in this chamber so far.

Whoever put the Coppelius and 2 lectors in the same floor, I hope nothing but the worst possible things in life happen to him.

I am not a beginner. I have been 36 starring the abyss since last August. BUT this Chamber 2 is IMPOSSIBLE. Nothing works. Those shields are impenetrable. EDIT: Just did it after countless hours: First Half: Nahida/Furina/Xingqiu/Kuki, Second Half: Bennett/Xiangling/Yelan/Kazuha. The first team turned out to clear its half in about 48 seconds, and the second one got lucky to group the pyro agents first, then the eremite lady and guy also grouped themselves, and I was staggering the lectors and using Kazuha to place them both together. I was not sure I will be in time to break their effing shields, but my hands are already shaking...

I wonder if the Kazuha Burst build can benefit from the new Burn set for some extra damage when it's on cooldown 🔥

It doesn't help becouse you have to do the entire chamber in one go.....u having Pyro charachters on the first half and the same for the next half really tells how hard this abyss is....I'm missing one star each on 2nd and 3rd .

start with the lector on the liberal side, then follow it up with the lector on the democrat side.

Im so happy, cause im stubbon and only use characters i like and dont touch meta or international, i dont even have dendro characters; but after 3 hour i beat this chamber. first half - yae miko, arlecchino, raiden, Xianyun second - yelan, wanderer, layla, kokomi dont need meta to make it work, just dedication
