That is so cool. My absolute favorite times at the beach are on days like that when the waves are huge and the wind is blowing. It's an amazing experience and you feel so alive. That's awesome watching those waves and water. Love the locks on the pier, but some of that looks like it's due to be replaced. Too bad your boys aren't with you. Glad the pier didn't get washed away again. We were in OC years ago for the Corvette event and there was a system that went through that flooded downtown. Some of those dummies drove (or tried to drive) through the salt water. Needless to say, more than one Corvette was lost that weekend. Thanks for sharing Jay. This was a good one!!

Man that was a bad rain storm you had with the wind. Look like you need to be barefooted 👣 with all the water everywhere on the road. How bad did your shoes get wet or was you wearing your flip flops 🩴 or was you barefooted 👣 when walking? I am just glad that you was safe about it man. Cuz I know it was very dangerous out there. I had to look up the Holiday Inn on 17th Street - wow, that place is enormous (shout out to the Holiday Inn on Coastal & 66th! I had some good times there!). It's way past time for me to get back up that way...

Thr Holiday Inn is a big fan favorite. We went inside to check it out one time, it's real nice inside with a perfect location!

Wow that's a Crazy Angry Ocean Jay!!! There are supposed to be a good many Nor' Easters this year. I hope the beach erosion is minimal!!!

It seemed like the erosion was ok, I filmed it at high tide so that was the worst of it.

Great video nice update they said parsonville near Salisbury had 7 inches of rain and gratesville md had 6 inches of snow

I love oc so much but there was flooding at inlet area roads leading up 1.5 years ago from a summer storm bent my splashguard for my car and honestly i get nervous now down there...

Those areas down there are no joke. I can't tell you how many cars I've seen that got flooded and had to be towed out.

It has scared me away from oc longterm!! I love my civic and am not getting an suv just for oc..and I wouldn't wanna drive there with any car while flooding...I have gone twice since and been okay but couple summer storms...didn't even go to boardwalk last time so scared of those roads..

It was the day we were leaving so if we got stuck there wouldn't have been good bfs mother had a stroke on way back...im going a couple more times and I'm gonna be done down there...luckily thr splashguard was cut and we could drive home...

I’m surprised they didn’t have the pier shut down.

Not bad at all. I'm worried about Assateague though, because they don't do the sand replenishment.

Yup nothing new with the flooding when there is a big storm. lol South Jersey got hit pretty good as well. Flooding and power outages.

A few houses in OP are having flooding in the crawl space. So far it sounds like, for the most part, minimal damage in other areas. Sounds like Fenwick flooded pretty bad too.

I hope everybody stays safe and damage stays to a 77 minimum.

They look like 6-8 foot waves. East coaster always think they are bigger. You want to see big waves, go to hawaii in winter.

The waves were muuuuuuuuch bigger than 6-8 foot. The last big storm with waves they estimated over 10' and these were bigger. I was watching some guy surfing in Hawaii, those waves are a whole other level!

It looks like it was on the lines of a damn hurricane as far as how much water

@ReelJayB I bet....is it true that when the streets flood in OC...sometimes u can c fish & sharks swimming down the streets or those videos fake of that shit happening??? I really don't believe it but have u ever seen that?
