A rather good example of dedication to the art and details!!! The carb, I expected a sequel with a new carb on order!! Hard to believe, it turned out so well. The aluminum removal was great and my only concert was using the flake caustic into boiling or very hot water. Watch out for your eyes. But as you noted, it is quite effective. Second point, a small coffee cup with the juice of a fresh lemon and a small paint type brush would remove the black staining on the parts and ensure that the caustic is well and truly removed. Then a simple water rinse and dry. Really nice idea with the detailed paint work. This engine looks like new from a box!!

dangit, normally I watch this sort of thing to fall asleep to, but the editing is perfectly done such that I'm not losing attention at all

What a beautiful job! I didn't think the carburetor and crank were salvageable! 👍

I’m glad you stayed with Honda red. Green is the Kawasaki color. Not that it matters much because the finished product is outstanding regardless of color.

Glad to see that you are saving this Honda mower engine because of the fact that Honda is going to no longer be making those engines😮

The sealing surface on the crankshaft looked pretty rough unfortunately, would not be surprised if it starts leaking soon

Good aftenoon from Greece. Your work was great. I have some considerations about the repair of the crankshaft. My opinion was to replace the crankshaft rather to repair. Keep on my friend!!

I could not find any replacements in stock, they stopped producing these engines spares for a while now.

You did a really good job with what you had to work with.. never seen a engine that dirty and corroded.. sure the crank was a issue as well. Maybe could have had it ground but getting oversized bearings may have been another problem. Hats off to you!

Fantastic as always. I’ve been meaning to ask, are these customers who bring the engines to you, or do you find them and re sell them, or the last is it a hobby that you are absolutely great at doing ? No matter what the answer, I love your videos
