Damn, I always thought the main melody WAS played on a guitar w/ reverb.

it was recorded like tha but composed by Martin on a cheap synth

@@plutostube Yeah. I thought it was a cheap organ synth patch... no beat, no guitars, nothing but his voice and pipes. If I remember correctly, Martin was originally opposed to the upbeat approach, and this seems to be supported by Flood's story.
Not much information on how synths were setup to create that cool bassline. After all, this is the 'short-circuit festival and I doubt a little tech talk would hurt anyone seeing that most people there would love to hear the tech details... it was indeed a step sequencer that modulated the VCF on the Roland system 700 much the way this video demonstrates... watch?v=EPpHwctO2L4
