Flood victims ....sad to see they express their grievances.....May all them be bless with strenght to overcome their difficulty....

Our biggest calamity in Malaysia is the Politician and corrupted government. We have a good country and good people tak kira bangsa and agama which make me so proud to be a Malaysian.

Both Federal and State Government of Selangor should work together irrespective of political ideologies. The residents of Sri Muda has gone through floods almost every year. Development must be planned, faulty pumps must be replaced. Clogged drains be cleared. Don't keep saying..oh we have to get approval from this and that agency/ department. Do away with the ' tida apa attitude ..takpe esok kita tengok dulu '...

Its been flooded since the 90's, you can ask Anwar who is the one approved Sri Muda project during Bangnon as Menteri Kewangan Malaysia

All the political MPs and duns, administrative and all government agencies are to be blamed !. Poor infrastructure planning, rapid disorderly disorganised construction and disastrous drainage system.......

Malaysia needs to stop building 1 storey houses. Look at Singapore, majority of its people are living in high rise buildings so even if there is floods, it would not damage their homes. Malaysia do have great and smart leaders but they are all living overseas or in prison as political detainees. Malaysian voters are partly to blame. Most of them vote based on race rather than looking at the candidate's track record.

It happened to my house in 2017. Everything damaged. Took my family and I few months to clear. Luckily there were volunteers to help. Really appreciate their help.

the problem is our rakyat is poor we don't have the money to upgrade houses due to the rise of inflations we are living in a very sad era... rich become richer poor become poorer. Unless the government modify/upgrade their house FOC then its okay and I do hope it happens which is very very unlikely

@@6831kenny ,,, they should change their way of handling the housing project ... they must learn from China 's administration ....and in running the country ... cannot manage or improve the quality of life of those under their care ... get booted ... get a new manager who can do the job....is like a captain cannot handle the ship still dont want to let go... want to steer the ship to hit the rock with the crew, dont care, but the self image surpass the safety of other human lifes....

Tell the government to fix the problem. Need to built wall to prevent the overflowing river or somethinglike this. Do let the government put aside this problem. Later, when flood occur again, similar issue or comments again.

Imagine, each house estimate lost is about 100 - 200k+ .... gov aid how much? And before this great flood the residence already experience frequent flood, many complain went to deaf ears.

So sad. Let us pray for all those afflicted by this disaster. May God give them courage.

In the end is all up to the rakyat helping each other as the government is getting weaker and tight with lots of issues unresolve. One thing i do wonder, where are the Sultan2 of those states victim? Why all keeping quite only? They could at least lend their hand by donating to those victims coz obviously by just relying on gov handouts RM1k only is not enough at all.

May all be safe & healthy. The gov. is prepare to give 100 million for the victims. Why not use the 100 million to build flood gate/ barrier a long Klang river or improve flood prevention system earlier on & avoid this disaster?

I hope this spirit lasts in the next elections to kick out the incompetent government

I feel extremely sad and heartbroken to see those who were still stranded till today especially residents and taman sri muda, which is one of the worst hit areas in Shah Alam. Both federal and state government of Selangor seriously have to work together to combat this issue..... When the victims cry for help, why the cries keep felling into the deaf ears of the government and the authorities? Why is there no quick action taken? The responses of the government and the authorities were so slow such that there were victims screaming and scolding, expressing their frustrations towards the lackadaisical attitude of the government and authortiries. Whatever faulty drain pumps, must be repaired,..... event eh clogged drains, must be cleaned and cleared at all costs.

Good Government Build Strong Infrastructure for its Nation , this can be Done have faith 🙏 👍 🙌

Authorities were not caught off guard. They were warned, they had time, they were negligent

I heard that Sri Muda flood is still emerging as the sluice gate isn't allowed yet to be entirely open due to protect UMNO's cronies housing project nearby. However these statements was denied by Selangor Government. Eh come on lah... It doesn't took you so long to open Taman Sri Muda sluice gate before the flood would gradually reduced just in few days. Why they didn't want to open the sluice gate entirely as soon as Taman Sri Muda was submerged by enormous flood?

Believe me or not that Klang River in Shah Alam is full of mud on the river bed. When rain the water is flowing on top the muddy water which caused overflow the riverbanks. Next century Shah Alam and Klang will become flooded City.

The govt has to build another mega canal to accommodate the Hugh amount of water that flows down the lower level areas. With such bad planning it is a time bomb, and any moment such disaster will happen again, and millions will be suffered by the people, and govt has to spend billion again. We all should Thank our super Super uneducated Government Bodies for not alerting us earlier and never had done their job properly. They must take more half-boiled eggs in the future for more disasters to happened .

The uneducated are those whose know a flood prone areas but yet decide to live there and blame others. The old generations and pioneers were more educated because they built their houses on stilts knowing the areas were flood prone.
