I’m a 45yr old man now, skateboarded since 1986. Fucking randomly, After a few drinks I got on KZread to see what ever happened to one of my favorite skateboarders named Matt Hensley. Watched a short two part interview involving him. Fucking Blown away man. I worked at, then eventually ran a bar in downstate Illinois for 15yrs. I was our speaker for the Great Guinness Toast of 2007. After we eventually discovered this song it became a tradition to play it once a year for the occasion. Its only now as of Friday January 15, 2021, 2:58am that this rabbit hole of KZread experience led me to great happiness. My favorite skater is a member of an absolutely amazing band we’ve listened to for years. Matt Hensley I applaud you. In an ironic twist, my girlfriends son has wanted to learn how to skate. Yesterday evening I went to our local skate shop to price out a complete for him. Then I came home with a remastered copy of Tony Hawk 1 and 2 for the PS4 . Weird timing, amazing timing. I actually told her son nobody during my skate period could Ollie as high as you, let alone pull off crazy shit. You’ve never been forgotten, always talked about how rad it was to watch those H-Street videos before we all went out to skate. Full circle man. Now I sound like some crazy stepdad typing an old teen love letter. Best wishes man!

I've been listening for this band since the Thony Hawks Pro Skater 4. I've seen them perform at polish Woodstock festival 2015 and it was the best concert I was ever been to, hands down.

Hell yeah from here in Chandler I remember those days fuck this new shit I hear. I’m like this is what is called music these days it’s so lazy tbh no instruments being played just a bunch of beats and beeps even the 80s music had instruments still being played while a synthesizer was being played manually like it should be in the background.

This song never fails to make me want to go out and skate, but I'm 33 and I'll end up hurting myself if I do. I miss skating.

I’m 48 and felt “whole” for the first time in 15 years. Got a new complete and went around the neighborhood with my kids. The arthritis I was diagnosed with from skating 10 years ago was non existent. Landed a kickflip 3rd try and am paying for right now but am waiting for my legs to come back to do all over again. No Regerts my friend, not even one letter.
