Cannot put my finger on it. I love this and it resonates with me. My ancestors came over from Ireland to Louisiana in the 1840s and for some reason even though I’m a Yank Everything about Ireland tugs at me. Can’t wait to visit.

David King was phenomenal in the band, Fastway ! It's been 40 years since that band was at its height. His voice was incredible.

What an incredible unique amazing sound. Every single one of those instruments can be perfectly, individually heard but they all mesh together to create something beautiful and amazing.

Back in 2015 my sister "forgot" my birthday and in January got me tickets to watch them on St. Patrick's day at the Hollywood Palladium and I saw them this year at Irvine as well hope they come down for St pattys day again in 2017

Saw them in Vegas with Social D. They killed it and stole the show. Awesome band...even better live. 👏

When I was a young punk scene-ish kid, I never would have believed that a fiidle, banjo and accordian could be used in a punk band. I was so wrong. From DkM, to FM and the Mahones, to the Killigans and the Go Set and all the others...thank the rock gods I discovered my roots and Celtic/folk punk.

@GREATEST CHEATS OF ALL TIME Uhm, DkM=Dropkick Murphys... Not to reveal my age(!) but when I was a kid they weren't around. Pogues were (Stiff Little Fingers were coming out of Belfast...but they dont really fit this genre), but the rest of them were not around yet. Celtic punk only started to become prevalent as a genre about 20 years ago. I was a Clash, Sex Pistols, SLF, Agent Orange kid...

🤓The frontman David King was born in Dublin, joined up with the band Fastway in Ireland 🇮🇪 for his run. After leaving the band he moved to the USA 🇺🇸 , driving trucks for a few years before forming Flogging Molly in ‘97, releasing Swagger in ‘99 🤓
