Its so beautiful. Fireworks get so old after seeing them year after year but there's something magical about the lanterns, like jelly fish floating in the sky.

During his stay in Istanbul he composed two songs, Light of Peace and Stardust, and wrote a storyline for a singing and dancing production titled 'Light of Peace'. After a few months in Istanbul he returned home and started work on the 'Light of Peace' CD which took six months to complete. The main goal of the project was to bring like minded individuals together to bathe in a symbolic "light of peace" at a time when much of the world is suffering in the deafening silence of the shadows of war. The collection of songs on this CD promotes harmonization, good will, outstanding hope and optimism. The CD is a timely reminder that love does exist in the world. LIGHT OF PEACE opens the album with an enormously positive and spiritually uplifting sentiment in a song led by Yevhen's heart warming lead vocal and the literal chorus of angelic little voices from a group of local children that have been umbrella'd by some mice graceful piano, engaging and subtle midi and tight percussion. It is the opening theme tht grabs your attention ... Love, dreams of a better way forward, and the simple gift of joy. SENORITA YO TE AMO - an extravaganza of immensely inspired guitar playing versed and intelligent percussion and an enchanting summer evening Spanish/English vocal that is skilled and accomplished. There is a hint of reflection of the kind of vocals that made Julio Iglesias an eternal presence but the musical arrangement is very much part of Yevhen's uniqueness and soul enriching delivery. CHILDREN FLY takes you to the Caribbean with its calypso steel drum elements and equally flavored melodies. It is a really nice colorful song that encompasses empathy and reflection with childhood while demanding skilled control of its perceptions in the arrangement. Yevhen's vocals are flawless in expression and the lyrics are doubly emphasized by the children's choral arrangements. ENLIGHTENED SPIRIT opens with some nicely presented harp work and almost christmas like midi controlled orchestrations in this wholly instrumental work of beauty and presence. The track is very nice and a clever bridge between the previous vocal tracks and is every bit as enchanting as its title suggests. ALL THAT I ASK FOR emphasizes yet another aspect of the special deep and sincere emotion that most of us carry with us throughout life. Yevhen's lyrics are quite remarkably balanced between optimism and sincerity and the vocal arrangement is one that would be equally comfortable in any setting but particularly for a seasons festivities and the communal joy that comes with it. IN YOUR EYES has been produced and engineered with some excellent bass and sax work, working together completely synchronously. Yevhen's vocals and lyrics espouse the same positive energy found throughout the CD and you get the feeling that the spirit of the album, no matter what the backing is conceived to be doing remains true to form and spiritual meaning. GYPSY PASSION brings back elements of the Mediterranean that we encountered earlier in Senorita Yo Te Amo with a musical arrangement that is heightened and focused. I notice that the girl who wearing green (I thought she's staff) tried to tell both of you to should take your lantern below, at least take it down near the ground for a moment. Because the safely way to float the lantern, you should let the hot air fill into lantern enough and then it will never fall down to your head when you float it like hot air could take the balloon up high to the sky. If you or your friends come to Thailand for the ceremony again, I would like you to be safe. :D

Went the whole time without any one standing in front of the camera! then just at the moment they finally let go of the lantern some douche bag stands in front of the camera and you miss the point when you finally let it go!!! Here we call that Murphy's Law!!! What can go wrong will go wrong lol !! Very beautiful though!

You can hear in this clip that many people said something altogether. They wished any good karma which occured because of this ceremony could make them live happily, healthy, be loved by everyone. Then the spokeman said they were ready to remind the goodness of doctrine and Bhuddha before let the lantern up to the sky.
