Plan for a floating house on our pond that is about 5 acres itself, someday our retirement home, need a big deck though for our ducks to lounge on, will tether it to the pier and wait for the amazing sunsets.

I would think never. This is not a cruising vessel, so undergrowth will not bother it any.

I would love to have the plans on how to build this or have someone build it for me.

This video was recommended to me now, so I guess I will have to comment...those guys do not wear any PPEs on the factory floor? No safety belts while putting the modules together on sea? I only see safety boots on some of the workers.

What are you going to do when water gets inside of the flotation? Plus that is just wasted space below the water.

Hello IDYLBERRY, The materials have been designed for these purposes, for example expanded polystyrene (EPS) which is a rigid and tough, closed-cell foam. There is over 50 years of experience about pontoons in harsh harbor conditions. For the space under the flotation, we don't consider it as wasted space. Are you sure it’s salt water. In any case the rebar is within the concrete, which itself is waterproofed.

Hello Hugo MT, it is possible to put tanks and small spaces under the floor areas, but we have a principle to build unsinkable housing projects so we rather not build anything extra under the floor. About 2:55: Everything has been divided into specific groups according to power consumption and purpose of use. Real nice but now where the hell can I park it...I can't even park an RV on 90 percent of the properties because of HOA...the fucks would rather let a small piece of land sit there barren than let someone with a 35k$ 2015 rv own it and potentially build on it in the future...I would imagine this is only for the extreme wealthy.... Oh did I mention who ever said America the land of the free, wasn't talking about me!

How are your designs safe for Hurricanes, etc? I mean, all that wind and motion? I'm not very informed on these type structures, but looking for a simple anwer?

Those L shaped shacks are pretty pointless...rest of the house is nice but I cannot stand useless architecture to make something supposedly look better
