Floating Deer Creek reservoir with friends for chunky rainbows.

A group of friends and I including fellow KZreadr Utah Water Log went fishing at Deer Creek reservoir on kayaks, float tubes and my Flycraft Stealth. We were both fly fishing and using spin rods. It was pretty much a party out on the water. We got into some fish and had a blast. Thanks for tagging along on adventure time.

Just caught my first Utah trout over 20 inches at deer Creek today. Middle of the rain storm and it hit in the first couple casts

Nice, a friend and I also fished there today. We had planned on going somewhere else but decided to stay closer to home due to the weather.
We were there this past weekend. The bite is still hot.

From shore, just past the fence, dropped balanced leaches below an indicator. @@TroutHowler

Well, there's big tigers in both. I Have more fun at Panguitch typically but I'd probably switch it up and try Scofield too or some other location.
