you should do a tying video of your balanced fast sinking scud... also when you are running multiple flies at alpine lakes are just tying on to the bend of the hook to add another fly? thanks

I typically only tie on the bend od the hook when i'm fishing streams. I make tag end using a double surgeons knot when hanging more than one fly from an indicator. I usually make the tag pretty long so i can make multiple fly changes without having to make a new tag

Heading up to Wyoming to catch some golden trout. It's my first time up in that area, what flies do you recommend bringing?

I'm assuming you're going this summer. Most of the lakes that have goldens are under 20 inches of ice by now. Scuds, chironomids and callibaetis are my go to flies for goldens

@@Swapp_Shop Try to go before the 3rd weekend of July. Bigger goldens tend to go deep after that. I've always seen far fewer bigger fish later in the season

@@Swapp_Shop Wyoming has an interactive map that helps a lot as far narrowing down lakes for particular species. wgfd.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=61d1fb66ead443e2af51aa2ada1f1eaa You may want to contact a Wyoming fisheries biologist before you go. They might point you in the right direction for lakes that are currently kicking nicer fish.

No, I debated going there today but decided on Jordanelle instead. The action was pretty good at Jordanelle.

Your video has a lot of views and counting. May be due to using tags. If you use proper tags and do SEO you will get a lot of views.
