You don’t need the start, stop push button switch. The HOA switch will do the job starting and stopping the motor. A good circuit design is one that will do the job safely with less parts.

If the main power supply is on and if the gen set transfer the load back to the main supply and if the gen set dosent shut down, where can we troubleshoot and identify the fault?

Not a suitable example to demonstrate automatic or manual mode using this scenario. If you turn the selector switch to manual M, you are going to bypass the float switch, that’s fine. You have wired the pump direct with live and neutral. You should use a pressure sensor first then connect with its switch live to the pump. If you bypass the float switch the pump will be on all the time filling up the tank thereby overflowing it.

I agree with you Dicken Gun. From my circuit analysis I see that the float switch has been bypassed in the automatic mode. This will cause the pump to run constantly. Therefore the pump will either overfill or run when the tank is empty. These conditions are are not desirable. This is a poor design

If I'm using a pilot light toggle switch for manual, instead of the stop/ start buttons, how do I wire it?

Better to place some delay timer because floatswicth are not steady with the flowing of water inside the tank and may casuse yong contactor ang motor damages and i experience it...

Hey Soozler! I had this same issue. I'm guessing his coil is 220V. You only want 120 V going through the coil. The basic idea is that you only want one side of the coil getting power (left side in this case, via the jumper) and your black float switch wire should be connected to your neutral wire, and the other wire from the switch connected to the right side of the coil. I can send you a diagram if you want.

Los cables con tensión entran siempre por arriba. No hay protección en dicho plano que hiciste.. Tenes que saber que los comando se maniobran con 24v/a en tanque. Circuito de fuerza motriz y circuito de comando. La conexión esta mal

What is the use of this single wire float in the tank. Je ne comprends pas le rôle de ce flotteur à un fil. C'est joli mais flou. Les boutons rouge NC ou vert NO sont des poussoirs, alors I have not understood.

This circuit not recommended for safety reason, The control supply must be 12v or 24v only recommended. Safety is first , nothing is more important than the safety .

This is a poor design, the float switch is not in the circuit in the automatic mode, this could be catastrophic depending on the process it is used for
