I've seen the lepton 3.5 camera for like €700 on aliexpress. It's insanely expensive.

The FLIR Pocketcam is no longer available, however the Raspberry Pi starter kit is the best alternative. About 70 meters I suppose, check out that video of resolution comparison, it shows the distance of human body detection
