Man I neglected my passion soo much. I focused just on practical aspects of my life because of believes that were forced on me. About the artists and art. About the uselessness of it. "Because what's the point? That won't bring you money, right? You should get a real job." I stopped drawing for about 6 years. And here I am, looking at your drawings. I feel so empty without it. I got a feeling, like because of people like you, so many people get inspired to create something by themselves. And I am one of them. I'm grabbing my old sketch book right away. Thank you for that. Edit: I recently started learning graphic design, and I'm drawing more frequently again, so thank you for all the support

True this life is too short to not do what makes you happy as long as you have that choice and option. Yea some passions are out of reach or may take longer due to financial reasons but at least try it see what u can do. Time goes by way to fast and one of the greatest quotes I've ever heard was "that no amount of money in the world can buy you a second of time" so it's not about chasing the money but chasing the passion.

I know I'm like that. I hate my work a lot of the time looking at small details that I hated . Or always thinking it's not good enough when others like it. I'd never finish work because I didn't like the way it was turning out . But up until recently I started to try not to care and just kind of sketch instead of trying to make it perfect. . It is more inspiring doing it this way and I'm now liking my work more.

Your work is far more accomplished now. You stated that you want your drawings to have more depth (black areas). I genuinely believe that you have reached that goal especially in the stippling drawings. You may not have significant "black" areas, but I am truly amazed at how much depth you create with the the tenaciously loyal little dots that you lay down on the page. The curves, grooves, and valleys are strongly pronounced to the eye. I can almost feel your satisfied fatigue when I look at each dot... and I like it. Good job, Peter! Good job.

This is so inspiring. My entire life used to be pen and ink but I got extremely depressed and stopped. I’m better now and I want to draw. I’m waiting for money to get the right pens and paper since I’m living in Europe and all of my supplies are packed away back home in the US. I think tomorrow I will just grab any old pen and paper and just start. Sure, it would be so satisfying to have my preferred ink and pens and paper, but as you said, it’s better to just start. Thank you.

Makes me feel like he really doesn't sit down to create art but moreso sits down to empty his mind onto paper to not only catalogue it but also make room for something new. When I was in highschool my art teacher gave us an assignment to pick a piece of music and draw to it , I chose Atom Heart Mother, I took a jiffy marker and doodled on this big 3ft x 3ft piece of paper for an hour and came up with something similar to peter's style, just black and white,(not as good as Peter) and showed the Teacher, she was like "good, now colour it", so for the next month I got to listen to Pink Floyd in class while I worked on my masterpiece coloring my DoodleArt with pastels, it took so long I expanded it to their whole catalog which I had at the time on tape or vinyl and some bootlegs. My art teacher was awesome.

Peter sir your art and personality make me smile. I wish I could put the emotion you make me feel into words. Maybe bliss. Maybe surreal. I’m not sure. Anyways, you’re a huge inspiration, not only to keep improving myself and my art but to explore deep into the creativity and emotion in my mind. Keep up the amazing work. I hope you’re having a wonderful day

Like the fellow below mentioned his absence of art i realised that i had this problem as well, now in quarantine days i am back to drawing , already did one album cover and started another psychadelic piece , spending more than 5 h a day just drawing i sink in the ink - real form of meditation - actually the only form i know. This video was like a kick in the butt! If you draw - then draw !

For binding your books, be sure the grain runs parallel to the curve of a turning page, or it can be difficult to get pages to flip well, and makes the page fragile at the fold. I used 18”x24” sheets to make 9x12 sketchbooks with the right folds.

I love art so much, especially art like this. I myself cannot draw but usually I can look at something and understand the different parts of them, understand how someone could draw it. But art like this is so ethereal to me because I don’t understand how someone could take this from their mind and draw it. It’s so amazing to me and gorgeous.

Super inspired. Started drawing at the beginning of this. Then came back a few days later to finish and draw more. I love your bit about there's so many reasons not to draw. I was just explaining that to my daughter and in a way inspired myself to quit being lazy and work on my sketchbooks and paintings more. Ive got alot done while binging your work in the background. I have certain techniques i use that are similar, its cool seeing other people make stuff and their finished projects! Go create something that represents you! All of you, Awesome beautiful people. Art is the reason we go to war and fight. Without it, were just animals surviving.

Thanks for the reference to Moebius. I spent a wonderful afternoon learning a great deal about him. I see his influence in your art but definitely see the differences also. Are we not all a compilation of what we see and what happens to us? So your art is just that: a compilation of who you are, not who Moebius is or was.
