This honestly ruled! The sketchiness made it seems like they were kinda loosing control of their minds and trying to get back in intervals which was so cool! I think it honesty has this sort of metaphorical feeling of loosing yourself in emotions or in your mind and than trying to get it back. Especially when the gray car was saving the trying black cat and getting their mind back as they’re running only to have to meet them in the sketch world so they can both leave together! Beautiful work! Edit: Quick spelling mistake fix

Look I know u said you despise that part in the cave but I have to say I freaken LOVE how the gray cat was innocently looking around while the vines/tentacles.slowly snaked in behind him. It was such a good shot that sunk in that dreadful feeling ig seeing your best friend turned into a monster. This was SUPER cool and I kinda wanna see more of these guys, the story and aesthetic is SO interesting to me :D

OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING. THE BITS IN THE CAVE ARE SO CREEPY AND I LOVE IT. THE ICE SCENE IS REALLY CUTE AND THE INTRO IS ALSO REALLY EERIE. The sketchyness of some parts actually adds to the animation, making it feel more strange (in a good way).

yknow what, the change from solid clean- to sketchy during the drama, and then back to clean in the end when its calm. they actually play put really well in the video and story telling, they add a lot of styleistic language. If done intentionally and with a bit more messy parts added to make the story a TINY bit clearer as to whats chasing her, you could do a lot with that. Despite what you say- good job, really ^^

I'm fairly new to animation, so maybe you could help me with this question I have? I've seen a bunch of people do this, and it's like you only use one picture, but the character still moves (without the background moving at all). How do you do that? I'm so stunned right now (P.S. Your art is beautiful BTW)... my apologies for being so inexperienced in animating lol

Hi! Thank you so much! Basically I have the character on a seperate layer from the background while drawing it, and then in my editing program I put an image of the background and another of the character (separately) and then move them differently! Hope this helps ^^

hi! i used paper and procreate for the storyboard, then clip studio paint for animation + backgrounds, and premiere pro for editing!
