Love the flip through! Thanks so much for sharing all those little journals. I did watch your video way back on how you do your faces. It’s how I do all my paper doll faces now! Looking forward to more flip throughs. 💞

I used to read books to 1st and 2nd graders as part of a reading collaborative team in an inner city school. I also love books and illustrators of children's books. I developed what I called 'one day themes' where we would look at and discuss particular illustrator of books we'd read over the year(s). Brian Wildsmith was one of those illustrators. I'm sure you'd be aware of them but I'll list some of the others in that bunch: Stephen Gammell (has a scribbly style), Ed Young (hides images in his illustrations), Gerald McDermott, Wanda Gag (from my state of Minnesota), David Wisniewski (paper cut illustrations), Elisa Kleven (collage), Brian Pinkney (scratchboard). They often had interesting lives, many of them overcoming some adversity. And I liked to show the kids this wide range of styles and medium as well as debunking some idea of a 'right' way to illustrate. Oh, and I like your videos too. lol. I mean, I frickin' love kids books but craft videos are fun, too. :-) I think it was a good idea to have a 'showcase' video of your work.

I really enjoyed having all the books together in one video. This sparks several ideas at once! I'm about to order some of your latest stencils. I just love your style!❤️

How do you make your accordion books? I want to make one, but it needs more pages than just one piece of paper. Also, what paper do you use to have it thicker to stand up. Love all your work and stencils.

What method did you use to bind the hand book? Love it!
