@@odulcina I was thinking how much we are alike and then read where you wrote it at end of your text. 🥰 it’s so funny you wrote that you go back to a crunchy journal to hear the sounds….because I do too! I bet you are also in love with each page in your journals being different sizes/shapes, too! It just makes my brain and heart happy to awaken the senses.
So beautiful! LOVE!!
Love love this journal. I’m a newbie to junk journaling, I haven’t made one yet, I just recently started to collect supplies, I’m excited to try to make this one .. thank you for sharing your ideas and creation. 🌺🌸

Beautiful! I love this so !!!!!
I love the grungy shabbiness of this journal! I had to stop your video at the beginning to go tea stain some coffee filters! I, too get HP boxes that I use for storage, but the next one coming is being used for a journal. I liked the way you used a large book to hold your signature. That's a new one for me that I'll use. Thank you again for inspiring me.

HI Anne. Here I iron all my filters. LOL Guess I'll have to stop that. When you do voice overs, can you talk a little louder, please. I had to turn my volume way up on that part. Love how you put this together and made use of 'junk'. Creative Blessings!

Love love this journal! I would love to know did you overlap the front cover and back cover to form them together ? Also how did you put the signatures in? I would think if you sew it in it would rip opening and closing it after while. I would love to try to make one. You’re very talented ! An artist for sure. Take care ❤

I should explain you used one piece of courragated cardboard so will that make a difference for holding signatures? I guess putting lace on the cover and back cover would help a lot right?
@odulcina
9 ай бұрын
you can do a lace spine as well to hold the signature. I did tutorial videos for that specific junk journal with all the instructions and the way I did the spine, which is a floating spine (there as so many ways you can attach the pages to the cover). look in the description of the video (click on more … or an arrow where I wrote things just under the video in KZread and you will see the whole content. I did a list of the tutorial videos related to this one. :)
:)
Interesting! Didn't know glassine bags would hold together as mine never seem to, especially trying to glue one of them to another. What type of glue do you use on glassine bags? Or do you use something else to keep them in place? Plus any tips on handling the strings from glue guns? I got a smaller glue gun to solve the problem, but now I just get thinner strings! Oy vey!! 🤪
@odulcina
Жыл бұрын
Hi Fiona, I am not sure about the glassine bags as I didn’t glue glassine bags together in this video. Maybe you are talking about another video? For the glue gun, for sure, you need to be quick to glue the fabric or lace before it starts drying so, the trick is to do a 1-2 inches lines long max at a time and also, I think that some hot gun do not get the glue as hot as it should so, if the glue is not hot enough, it colds down faster, leaving les time to glue without leaving a line.

that one is an old video, when I was not doing them HD. If you watched it on a TV, it would not be clear but on a computer or tablet, that is fine to watch.
The look doesn't appeal to me.
