I just ordered one. Can't wait to get it. Looks fantastic. Bthway, The shipping cost more than the panel. Oh well, its only money !

Sorry to hear that. You must live in Canada too. I spend a lot shipping things to me here in Canada.

I bought the 530 and it works great! Do these panels come in a larger version to accommodate more FIPs?

Flight Velocity have panels for any configuration and they even sell blank panels so you cut them out as you wish. Check out their website and select the one that fits for you.

This was so great! I loved it until you jumped from the assembly straight to it all working! Can you share how you plugged it all in? I'm having such a hard time getting the FIPS to power up. 5 of my six are light gray but the radio is on. Did you buy one of their multiport USB strips?

Hi JonathanDavis, Thank you for your kind words. Sorry about the jump to running it. I simply plugged all USB cables into a powered USB 12 port hub. The kind you find on Amazon. That Hub plugs into a blue USB port on the back of the PC. It may very well be that there isn't enough juice without a hub to power the FIPs. Also, once you are in the sim and in the plane of choice, you should see the gauges power up to what they are supposed to be. Good luck and let me know how it goes (here or my discord or my twitch channel)

I wish we could use the original bolts, especially for the FIP's. The bolts supplied in the kit look a bit naff. I'm looking around on eBay to see if I can find something similar to the ones Logitech supply. I think they are M4, Knurled head.?

How do you set you view in msfs 2020 so that you get rid of the instrument panel but still a view from the seat without feeling like you’re sitting on the engine. The zoomed in cockpit view in msfs doesn’t seem to yield the result you’re getting in this video?

There is one view in sim that shows the top of the panel and the view outside. What you see here is a simple right-click of the mouse and adjust the view to move the sim cockpit down, out of the way. Now, with a product like Parallel 42 Flow, you can make custom views. That would be a more persistent view for every powerup.

Thank you for that prompt reply. Unfortunetly I can't get the same result. Are you in X PLane in the video? Msfs gives me a zoomed In view sure but then the compas and the prop and everytrhing else is way too big. I am looking for a view where you see above the panel but it still feels like you are in the seat. If you are indeed in MSfS coud you please give the details of how you do it. @@ForderLearnToFly

A viable option would be to mount the FIPS and other real instruments at a height that blocks the virtual instruments in the view? It is actually what your panel does but the sim view is still above the virtual instruments and looks very realistics.

Hi Howard. All sorted. Velocity are shipping the missing bracket. They mistakenly put the wrong bracket kit in my order.

It arrived today. I'm a tad disappointed. They have supplied incorrect or missing mounting brackets, and there are additional holes drilled where they shouldn't be. Looks fantastic regardless.

Sorry to hear that Paul. Have you reached out to them? This isn’t right. Almost seems like they sent you a used one. I would contact them and see what they can do. Hold on to your packaging.

@@howardforder4481 Hi Howard, yes, I emailed them. I didn't realize they are in the grip of a hurricane. My worries pale into insignificance. I've managed to get it all setup. I just need another long bracket to bolt the panel to the top of the Honeycomb Bravo throttle. Then it will be perfect. The extra holes I can fill and paint matt black. At the moment, one side is flapping around till I get that correct mount.

@@paulthurston2883 the side mounts are just small c-clamps. Take a look at the video again. You can buy one for that side that's flapping. I hope that works.

@@ForderLearnToFly I have a Honeycomb bravo installed that side and there is nowhere to mount the smaller brackets. You can see they clearly designed it to mount the same way as the yoke. They even have the 3 screw holes pre drilled.
