Hi Jay, love your videos. I have the Mevo plus and E6 and enjoy them, although looking seriously at the new GSPro integration. However, will need to upgrade from my IPad Pro to a PC. There are lots of questions about best practices in setting up the Mevo plus - alignment / optimal distances for hitting and putting, angles etc. for short indoor use. Would love to see you do a video on that in FS then switching to play in E6 from start to finish.

Always like and appreciate your content. It’s really top tier stuff, lord knows I watch enough of everyone’s to know. So how much of a difference is Mevo Plus from Garmin R10

I love the feel of the Stealth but went with the Cobra LTDx-LS. Haven’t done putting in a while on the Mevo, mainly due to it increasing my playing time but going to putt next round 👍

There were a couple of examples in the video, @13:00 for example, where a 4H is shown on screen, but you hit a punch 5I. That ball got up quick and hit the limb. Is it necessary to select the correct club? Similar to when D was selected, but you hit 4H on hole 2 I believe. Does Mevo+ use the automatic club selection to determine shot data or does it only rely on speed and spin?

That was fun Jay. You seemed to be more consistent with a slightly 'easier' swing. Maybe there's something in that 😉. Great finish too. Keep looking after that elbow though. I know from painful experience that it doesn't take much to undo all the healing so far.

Am I able to get the mevo + to record from the unit WHILE playing a course on E6?

Your screen is really quiet on impact. Is it just the distance of the microphone on your recordings or do you have a special screen setup? I’d love to know specifically what you use for that and where you get your mats. I’m heavily leaning towards the Mevo+ due to my friend being a lefty.

Another great video! What is the tilt you use for e6 and do you use a different tilt for TGC 2019? Have you done a video yet on TGC 2019 with the fusion tracking and pro package upgrade?

Flightscope has not actually released any specifics on lighting requirements for Fusion Tracking. I think you can use your alignment camera as a good gauge though, if you have a good clean image while aligning or using the swing camera then you should be good. Check out the Chauvet EVE 20. It is a really nice warm LED with solid beam angle and it is also video quality so no flickering during slo motion video. Thanks for watching!

Does the pro package data work with TGC 2019?

hey I'm after buying the mevo with all upgrades and am going to build a simulator. What spec projector and screen are you using, thanks in advance

I have a Memo + with the Pro Package and I miss the club data on 25% to 40% of my shots. It rarely misses the ball data. I have worked extensively with Flightscope Support, changed my setup several times and still have this issue. I have also noticed that when I hit the ball fat I still get a positive low point number. Have you had similar issues or do you have any suggestions? Thank!

Interesting! I have not missed club data one time so far. Do you have any lights that could be led and flicker? I think they use the camera so could be causing issues. Support should be able to grab some examples to see what is going on?

Thanks for the video and content? Does Mevo+ connect to a MacBook Pro (laptop) do you know? And does it matter if you don’t change club used when you move to your next shot?

Everything is PC based. It will connect to the laptop but you're going to have to run parallels or Boot Camp with windows.

What projector would yu suggest to use with this

The title says with Pro package. Does the pro package give you anything on E6? Looks like the same data I have without the pro package.

Would love to go Uneekor XO but, can't quite finacially make that happen. Mevo give the benefit of no effort hand changing also. Have you ever heard people having issues in a building with metal walls?

Hi Jay - can Mevo+ work on a PC or only iPad? If only iPad, can the display fill -up a 16x9' screen? Is that what your setup is - running on iPad and using what ratio with your overhead projector?

I'm using pc here. It works great on Pc with E6, TGC 2019, creative golf 3D, awesome golf, and GSPro is coming too. Thanks for watching. Also, using iPad Pro for e6 ios and awesome golf I use my iPad Pro 11" which is very close to 16:10 and have shown that in the channel. Thanks for watching

Hey Jay awesome video, I was wondering when using e6 and end up in the rough or bunker do you need to club up, does e6 take in consideration the lie ur in or play a splash shot with wedges similarly to being in the sand in real life? Or do u just play it as a chip? Thank you

Hi Angelo, E6 does have lie penalties but I am not playing them here so it is just real distance. I do play splash shots, flops, bump and runs etc. depending on what I am doing though even regardless of lie penalties being on or off. I will see if I can play a round sometime here soon with lie penalties on to demonstrate how it works.

@@karlosmorales32 Yeah I felt like everything was solid. I had a good handful of people say Mevo+ driver is short indoor and you can see here my numbers are very close to what other LM's show for my data. I think it's all about a good environment and Mevo Plus setup plus some might think they hit it further than they really do.

Which of the monitors that you have reviewed allow dry swings? Sometimes it's nice just to work on swing speed without having a ball.

From what I can tell there is a nice improvement I have not had any missed chips or putts. Fusion is a free firmware upgrade for any mevo+ owner.

I can't say it made a big difference for playing but for working on your swing it's indispensable! (swing path, face angle, swing direction, lowpoint, etc will teach you a lot about your swing and patterns) I find for the first time in my life I'm not practicing stuff in a vacuum!

With the new Fusion tracking, does that mean it works better with the Titleist FCT ball now?

No, fusion is camera so wouldn't make a radar change just improve tracking with camera. RCT is still not certified for use by Flightscope.

If you don’t get the pro package will it still show draw and fade since it doesn’t show path, face to path, or club face direction?

Correct. It still has everything including fusion tracking. Pro package just shows the data numbers that's all.

So I'm about 7' 6" unit to ball give or take where I place it each shot. To the screen is just over 10'. Always using the dot for full shots and no dot for putting. Thanks for watching!

It is reading the ball so club selection does not matter other than for chipping and putting so it can be in those modes for reading specific shots.

An idea for a video. There are many potential configurations between tracking devices, PCs, Ipads, projectors, etc. Flow charts on how to set up various configurations would be very valuable to new simulator users. ie.....R10.....does it pair with a PC or only with Android or IOS? After making proper pairing, how to link to a projector.....Airplay? HDMI? etc etc Flow charts of paths of decision making would be great. These "set ups" (Mevo, Trackman, etc), how to pair, connect, software limitations, etc....will help guide new users and potential buyers in their decisions. I havent found a good one stop location for these set ups...maybe you could be it. Must you use a computer with a great graphics card when using a projector, or can you push signal from an iphone, ipad? If you have R10, how can you use a graphics card from a computer...are you limited to an IPAD graphics card abilities?

So I have covered basically everything you are asking for minus a flow chart which is nearly impossible as the tech is changing and evolving non stop. You just need to start with budget and space size and check out the various coverage on the items you are considering. If you bought X .... then you can do this and this If you bought Y ....then you can do this and this.. If you bought Z...then you can do this...but you CAN NOT do this...etc...

After playing GSPro pretty much exclusively, it’s crazy how arcade like looking E6 is.

It actually looks better before KZread compresses it. My PC is overboard but it's because I run 4K with full 4K recording. It's a i9 10980 with RTX 3090 and 128gb ram.

Yes pretty much any golf simulator software allows multiplayer and most even various formats like scramble, etc.

@@GolfSimulatorVideos another question. Projectors. I see they have a 4k projector. Some of the youtube graphics don't look that good. Maybe just camera optics. Your video look like the are off the computer not the simulation screen. Was just wondering if I need to throw out another 1k for the 4 k projector
