We need a giant scale Bearcat! Such a great kit, definitely worthy of being bumped up in size. 2.0mm scale :)

My Blue Angel decals fell off before maiden flight, just sitting in my room. Had to use Elmer's glue. Sent a message to Motion.

Just assembled my third Bearcat. Took the original power system out and installed a KV650 with the FMS 1400mm Corsair prop and a 85A ESC. The only problem is that the battery strap is too short, I could anchor down a 3600 4s with it so pulled it out and replaced it with a spare FMS strap I had. You want a plane that emulates the Bearcat getting to 10,000 feet in 93 seconds, this is the way to go!

What stand are you using? Where do I get one?

Nice plan. Like to buy but landing gear looks fragile.

Looks great. Is their a landing gear upgrade available? Or is it aluminium painted white?

They are steel wired struts enclosed in white plastic. No upgraded gear available, but in the years this model has been available, never seen a reason to need them. Also has metal trunions and a metal reinforcement plate

So I just got my Bearcat and assembling it. I have heard that the stickers that came with this model doesn’t stay put very well. Is this true? Or do I need to order a new set from Callie Graphics or just seal down the stock decals with a clear cite?

Sometimes they will lift, but sealing them works great, or by all means never hurts to give Callie some business

Can you remove the blue box and just plug everything into the reciever? What is the purpose of the blue box?

Well, you will need y-leads for the ailerons, flaps and landing gear to fit a 6 channel receiver or a receiver with more than 6 channels to plug in both flaps, both ailerons and both landing gears then mix the channels in your radio. The blue box is a hub that takes care of that, makes life easier

No, the manual doesn't call for it and I never needed it flying mine. She's a great flyer, stable in the air and well behaved on the ground. enjoy her

Motion RC some owner said, that the big props makes it want to turn left pretty strong during take off, is that true?

@@michaelfoxx4498 almost all warbirds with appropriate power systems have to deal with torque roll on power up. Just have to learn to feed in rudder during take off roll to keep the bird pointing down the runway. Even full sized aircraft have to deal with torque roll. Watch videos of corsairs landing on carriers. They have the rudder jammed against the right to counteract the torque effect of that huge engine and prop!

Could someone explain to me what the point in the "blue box" is???

It's a multi-control board that allows for less wiring and multi-function. You can run lights without wasting an RX channel, you can clean up the rats nest of wires in the limited battery space. Run dual elevators/ailerons/rudders without y-leads. The more advanced blue boxes can do even more than this one.

I can tell you that most of my decals where watermark....to fragile Also the pilot figure was not glued....

Unboxing and assembly video? This plane has been available for the years and now you do a video on it? Weird.

We updated them, that is all. Still a great plane, was taking it to a show, so why not give people who might never come across it a chance to see it again

@@MotionRC Hmmm, hate to be that guy, but I don't see where this is version 2 of this plane in the title or the video, or the website. you say the plane was updated? Now, I'm really curious as to what the updates are? Please elaborate, I'd hate to think you told me a plane was updated, if it wasn't. Misleading the customer is not typical Motion RC behavior?

@@MotionRC ok, that makes sense. you see how it can be read the way I read it, huh? funny how easy it is to miscommunicate. wasn't trying to be ugly, just couldn't figure out exactly what you meant. I was trying to figure out what could have needed updating, as this plane has been gorgeous from day one LOL.

@@shelbyseelbach9568 no worries at all. We are heading to an RC event next week and we're putting together fmsome display models and figured why not freshen up some of the planes we haven't flown in a while. Always love the Bearcat
