So odd they don't provide menus. Must be a germ control measure but I know most airlines have menus back in their premium cabins. Just feels like an American diner approach when announcing items and asking your choice. The plastic gloves aren't great either. Just wash your hands, hand out all the drinks. Gloves often give a false sense of sanitisation.

Looks great. I am flying the same route next week in first. Really looking to it now

Thai Airways first class is amazing. Love the footages you showed us and your video is professionally captured with great music. Would be flying on this aircraft from Bangkok to CDG but in economy class. I’m looking forward to enjoying the experience and making a vlog.

Great Thai hospitality on TG, no matter which class oft service. 5 ✈⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seats in TG 's First Class remind me of those WY recently has on their 787 Dreamliners that come in Suite -Style with doors that one may fully close for more privacy. Anyways... great First Class service on TG with an excellent culinary food selection on offer. The Thai option... my ever first choice! 😋😍 Thanks for sharing this nicely made review! 👍

I flew Thai FC back in 2019, prepandemic. Damn, I didn’t realize what I had back then. Great experience, but I found it even better when leaving from BKK. I agree with your menu frustrations. I want a paper one. One that I can look at and perseverance for a while :)

Nice video. I didn't know that Thai still offered First Class. It's very interesting to compare the First Class experience on Thai versus Singapore. The price of the SQ ticket, for the one day I sampled, is nearly double TG.

Hello and thanks for a useful video. Pity that TG does no promotion in the UK ... it's become quiet since the pandemic started in March 2020. It certainly hides its first class product under a bushel ! There must be much demand for LHR-BKK seeing as BA hasn't restarted the route and Eva Air is capacity limited on this, its fifth-freedom route.

I've noticed on Thai Air, in business and now first class, even before take off they are rushing the passenger to make a decision on what to eat, no time to read the menu, think about what to have for lunch and breakfast, rushing to take an order, and no physical menu???

I believe they are understaffed so that’s why they are order for the meals and the printed menu are also back. I flew this early this year and maybe there was some Covid routines still during my flight.

Thai First is approx the ssame like Qatar Business class ..... ok just the caviar was a Differenz.

The LHR -BKK leg is in the day time. If I'm going in 1st, I want it overnight. I'd stick with the night flight in business.

To Asia I think is best with a day flight because of the time difference. I landed in the morning in Bangkok, but then again I am a morning person😊

How long was the transfer time in London? Flying the exact same route from oslo. but seem yours oslo fligth left 20 min before.

Pure laziness trying to take your order for the entire flight prior to take off and agree, where are the menus? Even Emirates provide them in economy. Great review!

It doesn't look remotely in the same league as Qatar, Etihad or Emirates. But I guess assuming that it's a fair bit cheaper it still looks really nice.

The hard product from the Middle Eastern airlines are another level🤩 Thai Airways First is a good product though, but they are lagging behind the with their competitors😔

Thai is flying the new 777 to UK from Bkk so Fly the new one to Sydney.

Most likely cost cutting . They’d figure to save a couple bucks / pax by not printing out menus and disguising this with the whole Covid excuse…the world has moved on from Covid but not with the corrupt Thai airways

@@T.A-Aviation Please let us know what you think of EVA Air. I use to travel LHR BKK several times a year and always use EVA. Use the fly Thai but they messed me about by changing my booked seat 1 too many times.

Just checked tickets London to Thailand …. First class £7500 ish Normal class £900 ish Definitely not worth going first class maybe I’m just to poor.

I was one of the first to board so in one clip it looks very empty, but 5/8 First Class seats were occupied. Can’t say for business class though🧐 thanks for watching☺️

During this Covid period, I wouldn’t touch a printed menu which could be impossible to clean/disinfect. As a passenger, I would prefer touching a iPad or hard surfaces which would be easier to disinfect.

Not really an excuse I mean like come on….every single airline out there in Business / First class has a physical menu…..it is most likely cost cutting. The point of a physical menu is so that you can actually browse/have a think of what you want…having to make your choice on the spot especially with very vague descriptions of the dish is not exactly ‘First Class’ in my view.
