***Thanks for the Great video!*** I am planning my 5th trip from LAX to Bangkok. I have flown business class the previous 4 times but now after seeing this video I will be stepping slightly down to Premium Economy...the money I'll save will cover my hotel in Pattaya Thailand for a whole month! ***This is a no-brainer now!***

It appears that "premium" gives you a few meaningful extras to make such a long trip tolerable. Just the more generous seating would be a big plus. The food looked good, almost as good as I've seen on some business class videos. An informative report.

It's really the perfect bridge and for the right price, can turn a brutal long haul flight in economy, into an enjoyable ride without breaking the bank on business class.

I know how it feels.... I flew economy from Heathrow airport (England) to Sydney, Via Dubai.Like a 2 nights and a day of flying only about 20mins between the two flights.It was hell, but so so so worth it.I miss Oz so much.Been a year and we are hoping to go to NZ in like two years with the family we went to Australia with. (8 of us, me ,my parents, my brother, the girl and boy of the other family and their parents) We are all going to Sardinia, Italy in just a few weeks together as well!!!! About mid June.Cant wait! I love travelling

My dad always gets me business class.

Im hoping to go to chicago from dublin ireland (8hr flight) in october and will be flying premium. the longest flight ive been on before this was 2hrs and it will be my first time in the usa. really great video im v excited and it looks like fun

What a fantastic post about AA's Premium Economy product! In a few weeks we're flying to FCO on a 787 and then returning from CDG on an A330 in AA's Premium Economy and was curious about the amenities, food and most importantly SEAT & PERSONAL SPACE as compared to Business Class. I'm very happy that we opted to pay for Premium rather than burn through AAdvantage miles for Business Class. We also chose the bulkhead seats since it seemed they are much more private and have the added bonuses of nobody reclining into you and footrests as opposed to those bicycle pedal things. Thanks for sharing!

Great explanation and I appreciate your honesty. Your perspective coming from business class to premium economy was a fresh take. We’re going to Greece in a couple of months and it’s going to be a non-stop from US. My Husband is 6’1 and 50” wide chest, he’s 235. He’s hoping he’ll catch a good nap. Does the leg rest go up like a recliner?

Hi there! I the leg rest goes up like a recliner if you're in the first row up against the bulkhead. Otherwise, it comes down from the seat in front of you. I hope you have a wonderful trip!

I took this flight last October-November 2018. Over all you are totally correct it is a good bridge between Very expensive Biz class and torture econ. They served the Stromboli as a mid flight snack on my flight and it was so repulsive I spit the first bite out and left the rest. I am someone that can eat just about anything, it was that bad! The rest of the food was ok.

We feel you with the stromboli! Yuck! It was a decent offering but would recommend some snacks to bring just in case the food doesn't go over well. Very impressed with the seat and the improvement it makes especially in a 2-4-2 arrangement.

We have already booked for flight to Ireland, I weigh about 290 pounds and 6ft tall, are the premium economy seats ok for guy my size?

You should be good in the seat. It may be a little snug but it'll be leaps and bounds better than standard economy.

If you purchased the 2 hr wifi package and you could do little with it, did you request your money back? I would have.

Thank you! It does come with priority boarding. Security line perks are unfortunately not there for premium economy.

If you have to choose se which row will you choose ? First or other premium economy rows?

Probably would have to choose the first row. Loved the footrest for my height (6').

im going on a flight from DFW to SCL and i have extreme flight anxiety, i booked a premium economy seat since i don’t like being trapped in the economy but i am afraid i’ll be awake all night worrying about my fears. is sleep all right in the premium economy? should i take some melatonin or should the sleep be fine?

I think you'll have a much easier time sleeping in premium economy. Taking melatonin probably wouldn't be a bad idea just to help with everything but I'm sure you'll have a wonderful trip! Thank you!!

You mentioned you liked the second row footrest better, but what about the tv? Did you have any issues with it being lower and to the side in the first row, vs. being right in front of you in the second?

I didn't find it to be bothersome in the second row. The TV does tilt up or down on the seat back so you can adjust it based on your height/preference. If anything, I enjoy the seat back TV more because the one in the front row requires you to look down the whole time which can be taxing on your neck.

Nice video. Seems like you had wonderful flights. The food looks really delicious and the cabin is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your experiences

It's not bad! Very good for premium economy and the foot rest is quite nice.

Do you keep any of the blankets or pillows? Only watched this video up to 2:15...had to get going to work; when I stumbled upon this video in my recommendations...I will appreciate any feedback on this comment, Thank you. Just curious... btw 😎

I flew first class on AA LAX-HKG asked FA if I can take a pillow for my connecting 4 hr flight, she was so kind enough to let me do that 😴 guess it’s ok to try...

Whoa LA to Sydney yikes I’m going on Paris to Dallas on 787 but it’s ECONOMY not premium not biz not first BUT ECONOMY wish meh luck

Great trip report. I am flying this route soon and have chosen a bulkhead window seat and wondered if you were able to exit the seat without disturbing the passenger in the aisle seat?

I think you'll really enjoy the flight! I was able to get around my neighbor pretty easily without disturbing them. A little shimmy along the bulkhead and you'll be all good! Have a safe flight!

It wasn't too bad. Definitely an improvement over regular economy. The increased recline makes a difference along with a wider seat and footrest.

The bulkhead seat was 9L and the middle seat was 10L

Have any of you fly Jetblue, because I see you don't ( Good Morning, I am new to your channel, and from what I see I think you don't fly Jetblue) I still think this premium economy is awesome in my opinion for the price and better than many premium economy around the world

The biggest difference is the seat and on a big long haul flight, it makes a big difference. Food isn't too different other than additional snacks offered.
